A huge thank you to our expert Resource Speaker, Mr. Stephen Alexius Baltazar, for sharing life-saving insights on recognizing and reporting hazardous materials.

Following the orientation, our learners solemnly took a Student Pledge, cementing their commitment to vigilance, safety, and community responsibility. โœ‹

Monday started with a meaningful Bullying Prevention Campaign led by our partners from the Philippine National Police (PNP).

Our learners were reminded that bullying has no place in our school and that everyone has the right to feel safe, respected, and valued. Students were also encouraged to report any incidents of bullying to their teachers, guidance personnel, or school authorities so that immediate and appropriate action can be taken.

Together, let us continue to build a school community where kindness, respect, and empathy prevail.

โœจ Speak Up. Stand Up. Make a Difference. โœจ

Learning about Social Justice and Human Rights isn't just about knowing our rights, it's about understanding our responsibility to respect, protect, and uphold the dignity of every person.

Our Grade 12 students showcased their creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking through engaging presentations that reminded us that even the smallest act of fairness and kindness can create a lasting impact.

May we continue to be the generation that chooses compassion over discrimination, understanding over judgment, and action over silence.
Because every right deserves respect, and every voice deserves to be heard. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Developing 21st-Century Literacy Skills through Student Reporting

Students prepared their reports using PowerPoint presentations created with the aid of technology. During the reporting, the audience actively listened to each presentation and completed a listening task to assess their comprehension of the information presented. This activity strengthened both listening and speaking skills while encouraging active participation.

After each presentation, students answered Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) questions that required them to analyze, evaluate, and apply the concepts discussed rather than simply recalling information. Through this approach, students enhanced their communication, critical thinking, digital literacy, collaboration, and confidence in expressing their ideas.

The integration of technology, oral presentations, active listening, and HOTS questioning created a meaningful and engaging learning experience that promoted literacy development and prepared students for real-world communication.

Congratulations, my dear SSLG officers, on your graduation and all the achievements youโ€™ve earned along the way. Your legacy here at BCSHS will always be remembered, and it will continue to live on through the lives youโ€™ve touched.

As your adviser, I have seen your dedication, your growth, and the heart you poured into serving others. There were moments when your work was questioned; however, you chose to stay calm, focused, and committed. In the end, your actions, guided by your mandate and reflected in everything you have accomplished, truly speak for themselves.

Through it all, whether your efforts were recognized or not, appreciated or challenged, you continued to serve with sincerity and purpose. And for that, I am truly proud of each one of you. Thank you for your service.

As you move forward to college, may you carry with you the same passion, humility, and strength. Keep serving, keep leading, and keep believing in what you can do.

I am so proud of you all, and these memories will always be etched in my heart.

To God be all the glory and honor. ๐ŸŽ“โœจ
