Out of the different designs, one prevailed! Here it is, dragons, our 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭 for this year's Salingkusog designed by our very own—𝘔𝘳. 𝘒𝘺𝘭𝘦 𝘎𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘰𝘢. This is not just a mere design nor a fabric woven together, it is a symbol of our strong coalition that will surely be phenomenal as we step out of the forest; and into the battlefield.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Charting the course for this academic year, the Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Science (FFES) gathered at the VSU Convention Center for its First Student-Faculty General Assembly, September 22.

The assembly featured the introduction and oath-taking of the newly elected FFES-SSC officers and committee members, presided over by Dr. Dennis P. Peque and For. Chad Christian Wales, respectively. Dr. Peque also delivered an inspiring message, emphasizing the importance of students using their voices to raise their concerns.

The council presented updates on its accomplishments, financial report, and Constitution and By-Laws with plans of ratifying it, alongside plans for the academic year, including the proposed FFES shirt and lanyard and the FFES Acquaintance Party set for November 13.

The assembly also opened the floor for students to share their comments and concerns through an open forum.
