𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Building the future, one hard hat at a time! 🏗️ The Department of Civil Engineering (DCE) successfully held its 3rd Hard Hatting Ceremony at the RDE Hall on June 9, 2026.

A proud batch of 44 civil engineering interns participated in this momentous tradition, marking a pivotal transition from classroom excellence to real-world professional practice. The donning of their hard hats serves as a powerful symbol of their readiness to take on the rigors and responsibilities of their upcoming On-the-Job Training (OJT) deployments.

​The event was warmly graced by dedicated faculty members, supportive parents, and esteemed keynote speaker Engr. Jeriel P. Nunez. Sharing his own industry experiences, Engr. Nunez offered valuable advice on what lies ahead in their OJT, reminding the future builders to approach their internships with humility, a willingness to learn, and a grounded mindset as they step into the field.

​The wait is almost over! Tomorrow, June 9, our future civil engineers will take a monumental step forward in their academic journey at the RDE Hall.

​The donning of the hard hat is more than a tradition; it is a testament to the late nights, rigorous structural calculations, and unwavering dedication these interns have poured into their studies. It symbolizes their readiness to step out of the classroom and take on real-world construction and engineering challenges with precision, safety, and a strong ethical foundation.

​We look forward to celebrating this significant milestone alongside our dedicated DCE faculty, proud parents, and peers.

​The PICE-VSUSC is officially opening the pre-registration for the 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. This event is a great opportunity to support our graduating seniors as they present their final projects, and to learn from the research they have put together.
