The FCIC student leaders, facilitated by Miss Glenn Visto, MPA, and Sister Maureen Ruiz, OSF, continued their active participation in the second day of the Green SONA 2025 at Visayas State University. 🌍

The discussions and activities emphasized the urgency of addressing climate change and the vital role of planting NATIVE TREES in sustaining biodiversity and protecting the environment for future generations.

The event became a meaningful avenue for dialogue, learning, and collaboration in advancing environmental protection and sustainability.

The BEAP scholars reflect on the inspiring day they shared on July 16, 2025, at the FCIC Chapel, led by Sister M. Elenor Egano, OSF, and supported by our BEAP Coordinator Sister M. Clarissa Torcino, OSF, and our School President Sister Mary Michael Bactong, OSF. It was a day of learning, connection, and renewal.

We were reminded to stay strong, to keep standing even on the hardest paths, and to always take time to pause, reflect, and move forward. With hearts full of hope and faith, we continue our mission—braver, wiser, and more rooted in the Franciscan spirit.

This day reminded us that the journey may not always be easy, but with faith, community, and purpose, we are never alone. In every challenge, there is growth; in every pause, there is clarity. As BEAP scholars, we move forward with courage in our hearts, ready to live out our mission with joy, simplicity, and a Franciscan spirit of service.
