The e-ballots for the USSC & FSSC Special Election 2026 have officially closed. The Faculty of Engineering - Student Election Board extends its deepest gratitude to the entire Faculty of Engineering community for your incredible participation and for helping us successfully surpass the required quorum.

The board is now entering the final phase of the election process. Official announcements, including the finalized voter turnout and election results, will follow once all data has been thoroughly verified.

As of 5: 50 PM today, August 19, 2026, the Faculty of Engineering Student Election Board has officially recorded 450 votes out of the 1077 voting population. This is only a partial and unofficial voter's turnout.

The FE- SEB encourages all FE students to exercise their right to vote and participate in the USSC & FSSC Special Election 2026.

We would also like to inform everyone that the physical precinct was officially closed at 5PM at the DSCT Building, while the online election opens until 10 : 00 PM.

The Faculty of Engineering - Student Election Board reminds the entire Faculty of Engineering student body that today, August 7, 2026, is the final day for the filing of the Certificate of Candidacy (COC). All aspiring candidates must submit their COCs on or before 11:59 PM.

Students intending to run for Board of Director (BOD) positions are advised to coordinate with the Faculty of Engineering Student Election Board (FE-SEB) for the filing of their COCs and other election-related concerns. Please be reminded that after successfully filing a Certificate of Candidacy, aspiring candidates will be given one (1) week to complete and submit all other required documentary requirements.

In accordance with OP Memorandum Circular No. 217, Series of 2026, issued by the Office of the University President, the Supreme Student Council Special Election 2026 has been expedited to ensure the timely constitution of student governing bodies and the selection of the Student Regent. The special election also aims to fill vacant positions in campuses and faculties where no candidates filed during the regular election or where elections failed due to insufficient voter turnout. All qualified students are encouraged to actively participate by filing their Certificates of Candidacy and exercising their right to vote.
