๐ฅ๐๐๐: Inspiring the next generation of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers, Engr. Lydian Rose Rubio, OIC RAED Chief, delivered a message of excellence during the 1st Hard Hatting Ceremony of the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering.
โ There is no shortcut in becoming excellent in this field. You will always be required to put in effort to push through challenges and to keep going, even it is difficult. But hard work must be matched with consistency because excellence is not defined by what you do once, but what you do repeatedly. Even when you are tired, even when you feel unseen, even when you are unsure. And above all, I encourage you to remain prayerful especially with making decision.
There will be moments when your journey is not enough. When experience is not yet solution, and when you will need wisdom beyond your own understanding. In those moments, pausing and praying, it is not a weakness, Its a guidance.
As you wear this hat and pin today, I hope it reminds you not only of what you are becoming, but also on who you choose to be. May you become engineers, who are not only competent, but also grounded, not only skilled, but also principled. โ
