The VSU Faculty of Nursing celebrated its 14th Pinning Ceremony on July 24, 2026, marking a meaningful milestone in the nursing journey of Batch Nambulite.

The ceremony was made even more inspiring by guest speaker Ms. Althea Denise Paquibo, RN, a proud member of Batch Moonstone (Class of 2025) and Top 10 placer in the Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination. Drawing from her own journey, she encouraged Batch Nambulite to persevere through challenges, remain grounded in their purpose, and continue pursuing excellence with compassion and humility.

More than a symbol of academic achievement, the nursing pin represents a promise to care, a responsibility to serve, and a commitment to uphold the values of the nursing profession.

For Batch Nambulite, this moment is also a beautiful reminder that they are now living in one of the prayers they once hoped for. What was once a dream is gradually becoming a reality through faith, perseverance, and the support of their families, mentors, and the entire FON community.

Congratulations, Batch Nambulite! May you wear your pins with pride and carry forward the values of competence, compassion, integrity, and service as you continue your journey toward becoming professional nurses.

Choose Kindness, Always. ๐Ÿค

A simple act of kindness can mean more than we realize. The people we meet each day may be carrying burdens we cannot see, fighting battles they never speak about, or simply doing their best to get through the day.

Before judging, choose understanding. Before reacting, choose patience. Before speaking, choose words that heal rather than hurt.

Kindness costs nothing, yet it has the power to bring hope, comfort, and strength to someone's life.

Be kindโ€”always. You never truly know what someone else is going through.
