With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a truly remarkable person and cornerstone of the Department of Horticulture, Dr. Rebecco M. Santiago.

Beyond his dedication as an outstanding professor, he was a stern, highly principled, yet profoundly caring mentor who helped mold countless students. Even after his retirement, his commitment to the department never wavered. His legacy will remain forever rooted in the lives he touched and transformed.

He will be deeply missed.
