Please take note of the following important dates for the Plaridel National High School - Special Program in the Arts (PlaridelNHS-SPA) application process:

August 11, 2023 - Deadline for Submission of Application and Required Documents: All applicants are requested to submit their completed application forms along with the necessary documents by this date. Ensure that all required materials are provided to be considered for the next steps in the enrollment process.

August 14, 2023 - Written Exam: On this date, applicants who have successfully submitted their applications will be scheduled to take a written examination. This examination will assess various aspects of the applicants' abilities and potential to participate in the Special Program in the Arts.

August 16, 2023 - Interview and Audition: Shortlisted candidates from the written exam will be invited for an interview and audition session. During the interview, the applicants will have an opportunity to discuss their interests and motivations for joining the SPA. Simultaneously, the audition will allow them to showcase their talents and artistic abilities in their 1st choice specialization.

Who is eligible to apply for Plaridel NHS - SPA?
Answer: Plaridel NHS - SPA welcomes incoming grade 7 and grade 8 Basic Education Curriculum (BEC) students in submitting their application.

What is the enrollment procedure for an incoming grade 8 BEC student seeking admission to the SPA?
Answer: The enrollment process for incoming grade 8 BEC students interested in joining the SPA is identical to that of incoming grade 7 students. It entails following the same schedule, steps, and requirements applicable to transferees from other schools. Furthermore, students who successfully completed grade 7 at Plaridel NHS will also have the same schedule and steps, but their requirements will consist only of a certified true copy of their report card and the SPA application form.
