Please take note of the schedule below and plan accordingly. Students, faculty members, and academic units are encouraged to prepare ahead and coordinate as needed to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience throughout the semester.

Please be informed that the temporary Compressed Workweek (CWW) arrangement for all VSU officials and employees across all campuses will be discontinued.
Effective September 1, 2026 (Tuesday), all VSU employees will return to the regular onsite work schedule, from Monday to Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. This means eight hours per day and 40 working hours per week.
In accordance with existing Civil Service Commission rules and regulations, any substitution, offsetting, CWW, flexitime, or remote work arrangement must have prior written approval from the immediate supervisor.
All VSU officials and employees are reminded to follow regular work schedule and help ensure the continuous, smooth, and timely delivery of services across VSU.
All university measures on energy conservation and responsible use of resources remain in force. Everyone is encouraged to use electricity, fuel, facilities and equipment wisely.

Network Advisory from UICTS.
Advisory: Our system has detected a network loop on the Dormitory Network, which is currently affecting connectivity.
Our technical team is actively tracing the source of the issue to determine whether it is caused by a faulty network device or by the intentional or unintentional connection of an unauthorized/rogue device to the network.

Students from Universiteit Gent (Ghent University), our international partner in Belgium, shared their experiences and key fieldwork activities during their month-long visit to VSU campus and communities across the region at the International Research Symposium held yesterday, August 17, at the ARIC AVR.
The activity was spearheaded by the Institute of Tropical Ecology and Environmental Science, Department of Biological Sciences, and the International Affairs and Relations Office as part of the ASEAN Month 2026 celebration at VSU.
Through their presentations, the delegates shared insights, experiences, and lessons from their fieldwork, highlighting the importance of protecting our environment, working with local communities, and learning beyond the classroom.
