Assistant Professor Ea Kristine Clarisse B. Tulin-Escueta, one of the affiliate faculty of ARIC, attended the 52nd PSBMB Conference last December 2–5, 2025 at the DA-Crop Biotechnology Center, PhilRice Compound, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.

She presented a collaborative research of ARIC as one of the co-authors, marking her first conference since returning from Harvard.

We are thrilled to welcome to the Visayas State University, Dr. Richard D. Cummings, Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and Chief of the Division of Surgical Sciences at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

Dr. Cummings is a world-renowned glycoscientist, Director of the National Center for Functional Glycomics, and co-founder of the Harvard Medical School Center for Glycoscience. With over 450 publications, 32 patents, and pioneering contributions to medicine, biotechnology, and global health, he is considered one of the leading voices in advancing glycoscience worldwide.
