The Student Election Board β Baybay Campus, together with the respective Faculty-based Student Election Boards (FSEBs), officially announces that three out of the four faculties that reconducted the FSSC Elections met the required quorum of voters. These faculties are the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Management and Economics, and the Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Science.
Following the second reconduct of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences (FAFS) Election 2026, which failed to reach the required quorum, the term of the current officers of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences β Supreme Student Council is hereby extended until a new set of officers is elected in the next academic year.
Pursuant to the USSC Constitution and By-Laws, Article XII: Term of Office and Filling of Vacancies, this provision shall likewise apply to all faculties where no applications were filed or no candidates ran for office in this yearβs regular elections.
The Board extends its appreciation to all students who actively participated in the FSSC Elections 2026. The Board also expresses its sincere appreciation to the respective Faculty Supreme Student Councils that conducted their regular elections for their valuable assistance to the FSEBs in disseminating election-related announcements to their constituents.
The Board also expresses its utmost appreciation to all Student Election Board officers who carefully planned and implemented this yearβs hybrid voting system, under the leadership of the Chairperson of the Faculty of Computing β Student Election Board, Mr. Vee Emmanuel Anora.

SEB NEWS | VOTING PERIOD IS EXTENDED
The Student Election Board β Baybay Campus officially announces that the voting period for the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Management and Economics, Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences, and Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Science is extended until 11:59 PM today.
All students are encouraged to exercise their right to vote by accessing the official ballots sent via email and disseminated through your respective councils and course organization presidents.

The respective Faculty-based Student Election Boards have officially opened the Reconduct of the FSSC Elections earlier today, May 22, 2026.
Constituents from the four facultiesβFaculty of Engineering (FE), Faculty of Management and Economics (FME), Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences (FAFS), and Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Science (FFES)βhave received their respective voting ballots via email. Relevant information has also been disseminated through the respective FSSC offices to ensure that all students can confirm receipt and access their ballots.
The Deans of the respective faculties have likewise been informed and requested to assist in disseminating this announcement, in line with OP Memorandum Circular No. 144, to encourage greater student participation in the electoral process.
As of 12:00 PM today, the voter turnout is as follows:

The Student Election Board β Baybay Campus officially announces to the VSU Student Body from the faculties listed below that there will be a reconduct of the Faculty Supreme Student Council (FSSC) Elections 2026, following the initial conduct which did not meet the required quorum.
In line with this, the Office of the President has issued OP Memorandum Circular No. 144 in support of the reconduct of the FSSC Elections for the following faculties:

The Student Election Board β Baybay Campus officially announces the results of the Faculty Supreme Student Council (FSSC) Election 2026. Upon the official canvassing of ballots, only three (3) out of the seven (7) faculties were able to reach the required quorum.
Faculties that were able to reach the required quorum shall proceed with the posting of the Declaration of Election Results. For the official announcement, please refer to your respective Faculty-based Student Election Board (FSEB).
During the emergency meeting conducted by the University Student Election Board (USEB) yesterday, and upon review of the election procedures and consolidated narrative reports submitted by the respective Faculty-based Student Election Boards (FSEBs), the Student Election Board β Baybay Campus, through majority vote, hereby announces the reconduct of the Faculty Supreme Student Council (FSSC) Election 2026 for the faculties that did not reach the required quorum.
The reconduct of elections will be held on May 22, 2026 (Friday), from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and will be conducted through a full online voting procedure using the studentsβ respective active Gmail accounts.
In the event that the reconduct of the FSSC Election 2026 fails to meet the required quorum, a FSSC Special Election will be conducted in the next academic year for the faculties who will not reach the required quorum again. This special election will reopen the entire electoral process, including the filing of candidacy, screening of applicants, orientation of qualified applicants, campaign period, and election day.

The Student Election Board - Baybay Campus together with the respective Faculty-based Student Election Board of Baybay Campus extends its sincere gratitude to all students who actively participated in this yearβs Faculty Supreme Student Council Election 2026.

Kindly check your email accounts from time to time. If you have not received your ballot in your inbox, please make sure to check your spam or junk folder.
We encourage all students to participate and make their voices heard by casting their votes responsibly. Your vote plays an important role in shaping the future of the VSU student body and in selecting the leaders who will serve your respective faculties.
