Welcome back, Grad Students!
The second semester for AY 2025-2026 will officially start on January 15, 2026. With the new semester starting, the VSU Graduate Students' Society (VSU-GSS) will also be collecting the ₱200 semestral membership fee to keep our activities and initiatives going. The VSU-GSS officers will be at the Graduate Education office starting tomorrow, January 9, at 8:30 AM for the collection.

With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Ms. Maria Venus O. Dulce. She was more than a teacher—she was a mentor, a friend, and a source of kindness and inspiration to everyone whose life she touched. Her compassion, dedication, and warmth will forever remain in our hearts.

The Department of Animal Science, in collaboration with the Department of Pest Management, invites you to join the Lecture-Workshop on “Bioinformatics for Animal Genetics Research”—a hands-on training designed to help you explore and discover essential tools and techniques for modern molecular and genetics studies.
Conducted under ANSC253 and PPRT264, this lecture-workshop offers a valuable opportunity to learn directly from experts through interactive lectures and guided exercises that will strengthen your research in data analysis, interpretation, and bioinformatics integration.
Prerequisite Requirements:
✅ Install: MEGA (www.megasoftware.net)
✅ Install: FinchTV (www.digitalworldbiology.com/FinchTV)
✅ Install: Notepad++ (www.notepad-plus-plus.org/downloads)
✅ Familiarize with NCBI tools
