Our fourth-year Bachelor of Physical Education (BPed) students officially reported to their designated cooperating schools yesterday, September 2, 2026, marking the commencement of their practice teaching deployment.

The shift from the field follows the official pinning ceremony held at the VSU RDE Hall on August 31, 2026, where the pre-service teachers received their pins as a symbol of readiness, preparedness, and commitment to the teaching profession.

As they step into their classrooms, may they embrace the challenges, cherish small victories along the way, and to remember the power they hold to inspire their students.

The Allegiance of Physical Educators Towards Excellence (APEX) successfully conducted its 1st General Assembly yesterday at ADE 236 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The assembly encompassed various discussions regarding upcoming events and activities for the semester.

The gathering brought together the community to preview the plans, projects and activities of the organization, providing members with the opportunity to share valuable suggestions, recommendations and feedback on the proposed plans. APEX remains committed to creating programs and activities that foster collaboration, harmonization and unity within the community to achieve our shared vision moving forward.

Eyes here, Majors! We will be holding our 1st General Assembly on September 1, 2026 at ADE 236, from 5:00-7:00 PM. This assembly is your chance to raise your concerns, share suggestions, and stay updated on important matters for our upcoming activities.

Please take note of the following reminders:

โ€ข Wearing your complete uniform is required (Type A for Seniors, white shirt for freshmen).
โ€ข All 2nd and 3rd-year students are required to wear the same complete uniform they wore during their last subject.
โ€ข Attendance will be strictly monitored, and signing will start at 5:30 PM.
โ€ข Absences without valid reasons will be subject to disciplinary action.

The ๐๐ซ๐ž-๐ƒ๐ž๐ฉ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฒ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐Ž๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง 2026 officially commenced on August 24, 2026 at the RDE Hall, bringing together our pre service teachers in preparation for their teaching internship. Day 1 featured essential sessions covering the Student Teaching Program, the Phases of Teaching Internship, Practice Teaching Evaulation, among other key topics. Day 2 highlighted important themes such as Good Work Ethics, Portfolio Preparation, Departure Ethical and Emotional Preparednessโ€”all vital for their transition into the field.

The orientation provided them with meaningful insights and practical knowledge to carry into their teaching journey. Fully equipped and ready, they are now prepared to apply their skills in the classroom.

The Apex Officers attended the VSU Student Leadership Summit on August 22 at the VSU RDE Hall. The workshop was designed to sharpen the strategic skills of student leaders, enabling them to effectively guide and manage their respective organizations. This daylong workshop focused on equipping officers with a strong foundational knowledgeโ€”ranging from fundamental competencies to advanced leadership techniques. The APEX officers extends its sincere gratitude to the Student Affairs and Services Office (SASO) for the honor of being part of this summit. It was a valuable opportunity to gain and absorb knowledge that will benefit the organization not just today, but in the long run.

The APEX held its turnover ceremony in the IHK Conference Room earlier this morning. The event celebrated the collective achievements of the outgoing officers, symbolizing the passing of their legacy to the next officers. Both the outgoing and incoming officers gathered to reflect on and appreciate the organization's hardwork throughout the past year.

The program featured inspirational messages and meaningful reminders that leadership is a challenging yet rewarding responsibility defined by upholding the voices of the entire organization. We extend our deepest gratitude to our hardworking outgoing officersโ€”your dedication and commitment had left a mark that the APEX will carry forward. Yesterday, the Allegiance of Physical Educators Towards Excellence (APEX) participated in the Faculty of Teacher Education's 1st General Assembly at the VSU Gymnatorium. The event brought together students from various majors across the teacher education program.

During the assembly, the council presented the accomplisment and financial reports for the previous academic year. In addition, the program highlighted the council's strategic roadmap and upcoming plansโ€”such as Salingkusog 2026, FTE Weekโ€”as well as plans dedicated to fostering the overall well-being of the student body. Through this collaborative effort, the Faculty of Teacher Education continues to work hand in hand toward its shared goals.
