Baybay City Senior High School will implement Asynchronous Learning Modality from February 23 to March 7, 2026 as part of our preparation as a billeting school for the upcoming EVRAA 2026.

During this period, learning will continue through the provision of contextualized learning activity sheets and modules (Grade 12). Materials may be distributed online or offline (hard copies). Teachers shall ensure proper distribution and retrieval of materials, monitor learner performance, and conduct necessary follow-ups.

All faculty members are reminded to strictly adhere to existing standards and guidelines governing asynchronous learning.

Dr. Siao is no stranger to Eastern Visayas. Having previously served as a Schools Division Superintendent in our region, she has already left a legacy of dedicated leadership, steadfast commitment, and genuine care for our learners and educators. Today, she returns—not just as a leader—but as a daughter of the region, ready to continue her mission of service.

In her message, Dr. Siao expressed heartfelt gratitude and reaffirmed her commitment to sustaining and strengthening her service as Assistant Regional Director. Her return signals continuity, renewed energy, and a deeper commitment to advancing quality, inclusive, and transformative basic education in Region VIII.
