Bright smiles and healthy habits filled the air at 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘄 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 as learners enthusiastically took part in the 2026 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗯𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆. Pursuant to 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 559, 𝘀. 𝗼𝗳 2004 and in partnership with the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻(PDA), the Department of Education (DepEd) formally encouraged schools nationwide to promote oral hygiene among students under the theme: “𝘋𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢’𝘺 𝘒𝘢𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘢 𝘕𝘨𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘞𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘏𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘺.”

At Manduaw E/S, the celebration went beyond routine drills. With the 𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘿. 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙤, 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙖 𝗗. 𝘼𝙗𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙤 and teachers, learners gathered together in a lively, heartwarming activity, each clutching their toothbrushes with excitement. The event not only emphasized the importance of brushing teeth but also inspired and influence the school community to make oral health a daily priority.

Joining the 22𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 Manduaw E/S aims to remind learners that these small, consistent acts will ripple out to families and neighbors, nurturing a community of smiles that last a lifetime.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 “𝗗𝘂𝗮𝘄” 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 2026

On February 2, 2026, at the Bayawan National High School premises, the “Duaw” selected junior journalists of Manduaw Elementary School officially participated in the Division Schools Press Conference.

The three-day event brought together school paper journalists and advisers from different schools to compete in various categories with the theme: “𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵: 𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗿𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜.”

𝙒𝙊𝙒, 𝙊𝙋𝙇𝘼𝙉 𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙄𝙎 𝙖𝙩 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙖𝙬!

Today, October 3, 2025, Manduaw Elementary School successfully conducted 𝑶𝑷𝑳𝑨𝑵 𝑳𝑰𝑵𝑰𝑺 𝒊𝒏 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑹𝑨 9003 (𝑬𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒅 𝑾𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑨𝒄𝒕 𝒐𝒇 2000). The activity was spearheaded by our dedicated SWM Coordinator, Ma’am Theresa V. Alipiosa.

Teachers, pupils, barangay officials, and volunteer citizens joyfully worked hand in hand to promote a clean and green community.

This activity does not only help in keeping our surroundings clean but also instills the values of responsibility, volunteerism, and environmental stewardship among our learners, while supporting the barangay’s efforts in maintaining a healthy and sustainable environment for everyone. 🌍✨

Furthermore, last September 29, 2025, during the awarding ceremony held in Bayawan City, Manduaw Elementary School was recognized as the 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 in the entire city.🏆💚

𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐑𝐮𝐬𝐡! 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐰 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 9 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭

Athletes from the different schools of District 9—Bokaw Elementary and High School, Villasol Elementary and High School, San Jose Elementary and High School, and Manduaw Elementary and High School—along with proud parents, teachers, and students, filled Barangay Manduaw on September 9 and 10 for the much-awaited District Sports Meet 2025.

Led by District 9 Supervisor, Mr. Felix A. Jamandron, the competition brought out the best in every athlete. And after two days of intense matches, cheers, and hard work, Manduaw Elementary School emerged as the overall champion, bagging multiple gold medals across different sports.

On the track, speedster Gerry Mohillo dominated the lanes, racing to gold in both the 100-meter and 400-meter dash, and soaring high to another gold in the long jump.

In the chess boards, the brains shined just as bright. John Ismael Aldamar, Darren Joy Sangcap, and Althea Pediongola all checkmated their way to gold, while June Bryan Aldamar fought hard and brought home a silver.

The volleyball courts were just as thrilling! The Girls’ Volleyball Team, led by captain Yaku Zane Patricio, showed heart, teamwork, and determination, fighting for every point until they proudly clinched the gold medal. Not to be outdone, the Boys’ Volleyball Team played strong and secured the silver medal.

In badminton, Manduaw proved they were a force to be reckoned with. Raven Lestones and Edriel Bianan ruled the doubles court with a gold finish, while Kaye Angelada (Singles A) and Reyna Mae Purano (Singles B ) also took home gold medals. Adding to the tally, Jay Albert Urbano (Singles A) and D-Vin Clark Salcedo (Singles B ) both earned silver medals after impressive matches.

With their victories, Manduaw Elementary School stood tall as champions. School sports coordinator Mrs. Geraldine Decosta and school head Mr. Augustine Quiniquito proudly congratulated all athletes, saying that their passion, dedication, and teamwork truly brought honor to their school.

Manduaw Elementary School didn’t just win medals—they won hearts, proving that with unity and determination, champions are made. 🏆✨

Masayang Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika sa Elementarya ng Manduaw

Ngayong Agosto 27, 2025, nagsama-sama ang mga mag-aaral, g**o, at magulang upang ipagdiwang ang kulminasyon ng Buwan ng Wika sa Manduaw Elementarya na may temang “ Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa” Pinangunahan ito ni Ginoong Augustine D. Quiniquito at pinangasiwaan sa koordinasyon ni Ginang Razel A. Monloy.

Punô ng saya at kulay ang buong selebrasyon dahil sa iba’t ibang patimpalak na talaga namang nagpasigla sa lahat. Isa sa mga tampok na bahagi ay ang paligsahan sa pag-awit ng bawat baitang. Hiyawan at palakpakan ang narinig sa paligid habang ipinamalas ng mga kalahok ang kanilang galing sa musika. Sa huli, itinanghal na kampeon si Christine Faye Medes mula sa ikatlong baitang, samantalang sa ikalawang kategorya naman ay si Gabrielle Emmanuel Emvile ang nagwagi.

Hindi rin nagpahuli ang kakaibang kasiyahan sa patimpalak na “Bayani Ka Look-Alike” kung saan ang mga bata ay nagbihis na tila mga bayani ng ating bansa. Ang nag-uwi ng karangalan ay isang mag-aaral mula sa unang baitang. Dagdag pa rito, pinarangalan din ang mga magulang na nagsuot ng makukulay na kasuotang Filipino, at itinanghal na panalo si Ginang Abrinica.

Sa pagtatapos ng programa, dama ang pagmamahal sa wika at kultura ng bawat isa. Ang mga ngiti at halakhak ng mga g**o, mag-aaral, at magulang ay nagsilbing patunay na matagumpay ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika ngayong taon.

On July 25, 2025, Manduaw Elementary School successfully held the culminating activity for Nutrition Month, gathering pupils, teachers, parents, and stakeholders in a united effort to promote proper nutrition and healthy eating habits.

This year’s theme “ 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆! 𝗦𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻!” emphasizes the importance of ensuring adequate and nutritious food for all.

The event was spearheaded by the School Health Coordinator, 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼, and featured a vibrant parade where pupils and teachers proudly wore headdresses that symbolized the importance of nutrition.

A warm welcome message was delivered by the School Head 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗗. 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗼, who underscored the significance of consuming a balanced diet as a foundation for good health and well-being.

Several engaging and educational activities took place throughout the program, including the Fruit and Vegetable Display, Nutri Quiz Bee, Nutri Talk, Nutri Chef Challenge, Nutri Slogan Contest, and a Cooking Contest for parents. These activities aimed to instill nutritional values in both learners and their families.

The event concluded with great enthusiasm and joy, as participants went home smiling—many carrying baskets filled with fresh fruits and vegetables.

Indeed, the Nutrition Month Culmination Program at Manduaw Elementary School was a resounding success, reflecting the school community’s commitment to health, wellness, and nutrition education.
