AASMHS Volleyball Boys hailed as Most Disciplined Team during the 2025 District Meet at Brgy. Narra, Bayawan City.

Discipline, for AASMHS volleyball players extends far beyond following the coaches’ instructions. It’s woven into the very fabric of this team’s attitude, impacting everything. From their rigorous training schedule to their conduct both on and off the court.

As the 2025 District Meet comes to an end, AASMHS volleyball boys did not only rely on their athletic skills but also on the power of discipline which eventually led them to success. Their unwavering commitment to hard work, respect, strategic focus had made them a formidable force- a shining example of how discipline can be the ultimate foundation for achieving their goals.

They may have lost the championship round, but they won the hearts of many as they represent the best of AASMHS, embodying the values of dedication, perseverance and sportsmanship; and that- is the most rewarding of all.

From the words of our dear OIC-PSDS sir Albert Sarsuelo, “In the 3-day judging for this award, I witnessed how eagerly you have celebrated your wins and how gracefully you have handled your defeats.”

Indeed, the boys played with heart, and won with honor.

AASMHS ANNUAL INTRAMURALS SHOWCASES TALENT, TEAMWORK, and TRIUMPH.

Abundio Agarpao Sr. Memorial High School Intramurals 2025 with a theme "Rising as One: Empowering Abundians through Sports, Discipline, and the Spirit of Healthy Competition" was held on August 7 to August 8, 2025 at Abundio Agarpao Sr. Memorial High School

On the first day, the event started with a parade and the opening of the Intramurals 2025 included an energetic zumba and powerful yells from all the department to start the day.

The principal, Ma'am Doreen Ojeños gave an inspirng speech for all the students while sir Jerrold A. Cadiz, the school’s Sports Coordinator, officially opened the Intramurals 2025; who emphasized, “skills can be learned but character cannot be. Therefore it is more important to have character than to have skills.”

In the afternoon, the volleyball girls and boys started with an exciting and intense game between the Green Dragons and the Yellow Pyhtons, followed by the Red Bulls versus the Blue Wolves respectively. Simultaneously, the Billiards competition for men and women was also taking place.

The second day started with an incredibly energetic zumba, so the students can have the energy and the strength to play all the games that they want to join.

The games included chess, badminton, and basketball girls and boys while volleyball championship was already taking place.

The Intramurals in AASMHS was to showcase the students skills and talents in sports and to help the students to improve their physical and mental health while having fun. The athletes are looking forward for the District Meet which promises to be another nail-biting experience.

As Abundio Agarpao officially opens its Intramurals 2025, it brought forth the flaming courage and strength of the students.
While we are divided by colors, we bleed the same color of unity, fairness, and love for the school.

This is only day one, and our strength and love for the game will never waver. Mabuhay, Abundio!

𝘼𝙗𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙤’𝙨 𝙁𝙡𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙩𝙤 𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝!

The Nutrition Month celebration of Abundio Agarpao Sr. Memorial High School with the theme, “Food at Nutrition Security Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!” held on July 30, 2025, was a resounding success, filled with fun and learning. The event featured various activities, including a cooking competition, Nutri Quiz Bee, and Jingle competition, showcasing the talents and skills of students from different grade levels.

The highlight of the event was the Nutri Ambassador and Ambassadress where students demonstrated their presentation of costume and speaking skills. The winners were announced, with Grade 12 taking home the top spot as Ambassador and Grade 10 winning the title for Ambassadress.

Other competitions saw Grade 9 emerge victorious in the Jingle competition, while the sixth group from each grade level composed of Thirdy Tañara, Ysabelle Montero, April Dela Torre, Princess Kate Baron, Maesy Jane Raidan, and Rica Mae Ferrer shone the brightest at the Nutri Quiz competition. On the other hand, the Grade 12 GAS students impressed the judges with their culinary skills and won 1st place.

The celebration was a testament to the students’ creativity, teamwork, and passion for nutrition.

CONGRATULATIONS Basketball Girls 3-on-3 for taking home the Bronze medal. We are so proud of your hard work and dedication!

COMPLETE DOMINATION: In a remarkable display of skill and teamwork, Abundians representing District 5 girls' basketball team delivered a crushing 11-0 victory over District 6 during the 3-on-3 basketball event at the Division Sports Meet 2024, leaving their opponents without a single point.

Led by Grade 9 team captain Isabelle Baron, alongside Grade 7 twins Mitch and Ritch Cadeliña, and Grade 9 standout Eljean Cabonelas, the team showed exceptional prowess in their first match, held at Villareal Gymnasium. Their outstanding performance set the tone for what is shaping up to be an exciting tournament.

Their second game, against the tough competitors from District 10, was a nail-biting clash of grit and strength. In a heart-stopping finish, District 10 narrowly edged out District 5 with a 13-12 victory, leaving the spectators on the edge of their seats.

Undeterred, District 5’s girls are set to face Bayawan National High School on Wednesday morning, October 9, 2024, in what promises to be another thrilling match.

DSPC 2024 idinaos ng SDO Bayawan City

DSPC 2024 idinaos sa Bayawan National High School (BNHS) nitong ika-13 hanggang ika-15 ng Marso 2024 sa temang "From Campus Journalism to Real World Journalism: Shaping Minds from School to Societies."

Ang Division School Press Conference 2024 ay nilahukan ng 928 na mga mamamahayag mula sa iba't-ibang distrito ng Schools Division of Bayawan City (SDO Bayawan). Ito ay nangyari alinsunod sa layunin na makakuha ng mga magagaling na mamamahayag.

Ayon kay Dr. Esmole Cañete, "This is in preparation for division participation in the regional and national press conferences for 2023-2024."

Maagang dumating ang mga kalahok mula sa Distrito Uno hanggang Distrito Sampu ng Bayawan at Distrito Uno at Dos ng Basay.

Nagbigay rin ng mensahe si Dr. Anelito Bongcawil sa mga mamamahayag, sinabi niya, "You are all winners because when you participate in this kind of endeavor, you are winners and never losers." Dagdag pa niya, "School paper is about the wisdom of the youngster, the wisdom to decide what is right, what is best, what is beneficial, and to tell the truth even if it hurts."
