As we lay down our badges and responsibilities, we look back with so much gratitude on this entire journeyโfrom the moment votes were cast and positions were appointed, to every late meeting and shared task that shaped our term. Every effort we poured in was driven by our wish to serve and make a difference, and through all the planning, adjusting, and working together, we realized that the greatest achievement wasnโt just the work we finished, but the bond we built along the way. What started as a group of individuals assigned to roles slowly grew into something far deeper: a true family that stood by each other through every challenge and every win.
Now that our time has come to an end, we carry with us memories and lessons that will stay in our hearts forever, far beyond any title or duty we held. We may be stepping down, but the connection we formed and the spirit of service we shared will always remain a part of who we are. Thank you for trusting us, walking with us, and letting us leadโthis experience has been an honor, and we are proud to have served and grown together as one CAFamilia.๐

On April 23, 2026, the fourth year Forestry students of the College of Agriculture and Forestry of Negros Oriental State University carried out a meaningful environmental activity as part of leaving a lasting legacy before graduating from college.
The graduating students participated in a mangrove planting activity held at Barangay Pagatban, Bayawan City, where a total of 2,000 mangrove propagules were planted along the coastal area. The activity aimed to help protect the coastline, support environmental conservation, and contribute to the rehabilitation of mangrove ecosystems in the community.
Through this initiative, the students showed their love and care for the environment while applying the knowledge and experiences they gained throughout their years in the forestry program. More than just an academic activity, the mangrove planting became a symbol of gratitude and giving back to Mother Nature.
The activity was successfully conducted under the guidance of their college instructor, Mrs. Laly Jane C. Rivera, together with the support and cooperation of the association president, Mr. Roberto Flores Sabillo, whose efforts helped make the event organized and meaningful for all participants.
As they prepare to leave their college journey behind, the Forestry fourth year students hope that the mangrove propagules they planted will continue to grow and serve as a lasting reminder of their contribution to environmental protection and sustainable development.
