Baican Elementary School extends its heartfelt thanks to ASA Philippines Foundation for their generosity and support! 💛

Our learners were all smiles as they received various school supplies and snacks, while our teachers were also blessed with bond papers to aid in classroom preparation. ✨

We also wish to express our sincere thanks to the Barangay Council of Bugay for their assistance in hauling and transporting the donated items to our school. Your helping hands made this activity smooth and successful.

Today, we culminated our Science and Mathematics Month with fun-filled and meaningful activities that showcased the creativity, knowledge, and skills of our learners.

The event highlighted the importance of Science and Math in our daily lives through engaging contests such as:
🧵 Trashion Show – turning trash into fashion
🧠 Quiz Bowl – testing knowledge in Science & Math
♻️ Recycled-Making Contest – promoting creativity and sustainability
🎨 Poster-Making Contest – expressing ideas through art

These activities did not only bring out the talents of our pupils but also emphasized innovation, teamwork, and critical thinking.

Congratulations to all the participants and winners! 🏆👏 Truly, Science and Math are everywhere — helping us build a brighter, smarter, and greener future. 💚

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT (SUSPENSION OF CLASSES IN BAYAWAN CITY)

The City Government of Bayawan is adopting Executive Order No. 22, Series of 2025 issued by the Provincial Government of Negros Oriental, ordering the suspension of classes at all levels in both public and private schools due to the enhanced southwest monsoon (Habagat) and the track of Typhoon Opong, which are causing heavy rains across the province.

Accordingly, all classes in Bayawan City are suspended beginning September 26, 2025, until lifted.

The safety and welfare of learners, teachers, and school personnel remain our utmost priority. Everyone is urged to remain vigilant and stay updated through official advisories.

Sa temang “Paglinang ng Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagbuo ng Bansa”, matagumpay nating naisagawa ang Panapos na Programa sa Buwan ng Wika.

Isang makulay na selebrasyon na nagbigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng ating sariling wika at kulturang Pilipino—mula sa mga pagtatanghal, paligsahan, at pagkilala sa husay ng ating mga mag-aaral.

Lubos ang aming pasasalamat kay Ginang Rosemarie Llera, aming masigasig na Filipino Coordinator, sa kanyang pamumuno at dedikasyon na naging susi sa tagumpay ng programang ito. Pati na rin kay Ginoong Ken Ortega, ang aming mahusay na punong-abala , sa kanyang husay sa pamumuno ng daloy ng programa.

Pasasalamat din sa ating mga g**o, magulang, at mag-aaral na buong puso ang naging pakikiisa at suporta upang maisakatuparan ang makabuluhang pagdiriwang na ito.
