"Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan" is this school opening theme for 2023 Brigada Eskwela. Upper Bayang District led by PSDS Asnairah Pandapatan Balt joins Lanao del II Division Brigada Eskwela Kick-off last August 16, 2023 together with UBD principals, teachers and the entire UBD community.

Sama-sama para sa paghahanda ng mas malinis at maaliwalas na mga classrooms ang mga parents, learners and teachers who work hand and hand in making the schools of Upper Bayang 2023-2024 ready.

English Reading Month Celebration 2022

THEME: "Rediscovering the Legacy of Literacy through Reading"

As stipulated in DepEd Order 244, the National Reading Month is to be celebrated every month of November. This D.O. aims to cultivate learners' love for reading.

Alhamdulillah! Along with other school activities, the end goal of the month-long National Reading Month Celebration is highly accomplished as SPCES learners enjoyed various reading materials from the learning pantry especially the new Colorful Islamic books (Story of Prophets), Disney storybooks, contextualized big books and other new exciting reading materials from the reading corners.

A few of the reading activities carried out through out the month were D.E.A.R (Drop Everything and Read), simultaneous big books retelling stories, read-a-thon, reading buddy sessions, engaging classroom games to encourage them to spend more time in reading in order for them to enjoy the glory of reading and eventually succeeding in such activities.

STOP VAWC!

In pursuance to R.A. 9262 which primarily seeks to protect women and their children against the prevalence of domestic abuse, SPCES vows to continuously support any related program to this law.

And as the nation observes the 18 Day Awareness Campaign to end VAWC, SPCES learners were given a short talk with the presence of some parents on he existence of the violence against women and children and how to eliminate this community problem through the eradication of simple social biases that leads to Violence and by educating them on building a healthy relationship to everyone.

Walang maaabuso kung walang mang-aabuso at magpapa-abuso! Protect Women and their Children! Stop VAWC! Act now!

SPCES JOINT CELEBRATION OF WORLD TEACHERS' DAY 2022 and INDUCTION OF SPG and YES O OFFICERS

World Teachers' Day is held annually From September 5 to October 5 to celebrate teachers and the impact they make in our communities. With that, SPCES is in one of this special occasion of honoring teachers with the theme “Gurong Pilipino: Dangal ng Sambayanang Pilipino (Filipino Teachers: Pride of the Filipino Nation).”

SPCES Faculty headed by none other than the very active Dr. Johana B. Andig express gratitude to the SPCES pupils for the greetings, gestures and all your efforts as a whole for making our day special.

Special thanks to the SPCES' Parents for your surprise presentation and for your support to our learners, teachers and school.

With that, let us end the Teachers' Day Celebration with UNESCO's message:

"There is no stronger foundation for lasting peace and sustainable development than a quality education provided by well-trained, valued, supported and motivated teachers."

SPG ELECTION | SEPTEMBER 14, 2022

Sultan Pandapatan Central Elementary School's SUPREME PUPILS GOVERNMENT (SPG) Election was successfully carried out last week.

This is in line with Department of Education's mandates- to train well-rounded individuals. Activities includes creation of two opposing team, filing of candidacy, candidates' orientation, campaign period, election proper, canvassing and announcement of winners. The oath taking of 2022 elected officers will follow next week.
