Pangasinan State Universityโ€“Bayambang Campus officially welcomed its newest ๐๐’๐”๐ง๐ข๐š๐ง๐ฌ during the ๐…๐ฅ๐š๐  ๐‘๐š๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‚๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฒ held at the Benigno Aldana Gymnasium on August 11, 2026. The event served as an avenue for the first-year students to become acquainted with the university community and gain a deeper sense of belonging as they begin their college journey.

The gathering was led by ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐Œ๐š๐๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ง ๐ƒ. ๐“๐ข๐ง๐ ๐œ๐จ, ๐‚๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐„๐ฑ๐ž๐œ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐ƒ๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ, who emphasized the importance of responsibility, dedication to learning, and making the most of the opportunities provided by the University. Joining her were the campus officials, faculty members, and student leaders, whose presence reflected the collective support of the campus community in welcoming and guiding students as they begin another academic year.

Following the ceremony, the BECED first-year students took part in the ๐‚๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐“๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ, with the assistance of the ๐„๐‚๐„๐ƒ๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌโ€™ ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐› ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ. They explored the universityโ€™s facilities and familiarized themselves with the spaces that will become part of their college experience.

This event marked the beginning of a new chapterโ€”welcoming the ๐๐„๐‚๐„๐ƒ ๐…๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ-๐˜๐ž๐š๐ซ ๐’๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ into a community where learning, growth, and purpose come together, as they take their first steps toward becoming future educators. ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿซ๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿซ

The launch marked the culmination of a series of preparatory activities designed to ensure that the extension project responds effectively to the needs of the partner community. On ๐‰๐ฎ๐ง๐ž 1, the project formally commenced with a ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐Œ๐ž๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ that brought together representatives from PSU and the School Head, teachers, Barangay Council, Sangguniang Kabataan leaders, to establish partnerships and identify priority interventions.
