The 2-day celebration of Lumalako Trade Fair 2026 of Bayambang Polytechnic College successfully culminated through its 1st Unity Fun Run held on May 5, bringing together students, faculty, staff, and participants from various communities in a vibrant celebration of fitness, camaraderie, and school spirit. From the lively Zumba warm-up and colorful run around town to the much-awaited splash party and awarding of the Top 15 finishers, the event became a memorable showcase of unity, energy, and youthful enthusiasm as the College looks forward to making the activity an annual tradition in the coming school years.

Bayambang Polytechnic College (BPC) proudly recognizes the participation of Mr. Anthony D. Dela Cruz, who represented the institution in the Higher Education Leadership Mentoring (HELM) Fellowship Program hosted by the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) through its Office for Institutional Development in Higher Education (OIDHE).

Mr. Dela Cruz formally accepted his role as a HELM Fellow, undertaking academic exposure and leadership mentoring engagements at the College of Agriculture and Food Science (CAFS), College of Economics and Management (CEM), and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (OVCAA) from April 13 to April 24, 2026. This initiative forms part of a nationwide effort to enhance leadership capacities among higher education institutions.

The program also featured a fellowship night participated in by fellows from across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and institutional networking.

This milestone reflects BPC’s continued commitment to academic excellence and leadership development, made possible through the strong support and guidance of Dr. Rafael Limueco Saygo, College President.

BPC extends its congratulations to Mr. Dela Cruz for this remarkable achievement and for bringing honor to the institution through his active engagement in national-level academic development programs.

Bayambang Polytechnic College proudly conducted the College Career Guidance and Placement Seminar 2026, an empowering initiative designed to equip our graduating students with the mindset, skills, and opportunities needed to thrive beyond the classroom and into the real world. Anchored on the theme “Beyond Graduation: Ready for Work, Ready for Life,” the seminar served as a bridge connecting academic preparation to professional success and personal growth.

Spearheaded by Dr. Rafael Limueco Saygo, College President and Mr. Jeffrey Ferrer, Assistant Guidance Counselor the event reflects BPC’s strong commitment to student development and career readiness, ensuring that every graduate is holistically prepared to meet the demands of the workforce and the realities of life beyond graduation.

The event featured a distinguished lineup of speakers who generously shared their expertise and real-world insights: Ms. Erlinda S. Alvarez, Consultant/Action Desk Officer, Special Economic Enterprise; Mr. Onofre Q. Macaraeg, Inventrepreneur, Business Owner, Metal Working TESDA Instructor, and Investor; Atty. Melinda Rose Fernandez, Human Resource Management Officer (HRMO), LGU Bayambang; and Ms. Gernalyn Santos, Head of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), LGU Bayambang. Through their inspiring talks, students gained valuable knowledge on career readiness, employment pathways, entrepreneurship, workforce expectations, and the importance of resilience and adaptability in today’s dynamic job market.

More than just a seminar, this initiative reaffirmed BPC’s commitment to developing future professionals who are not only job-ready but life-ready—grounded in competence, character, and purpose. As our students prepare to step into the next chapter of their journey, they carry with them the confidence to navigate challenges, seize opportunities, and make meaningful contributions to society.
