COOKERY NC II PASSERS

Congratulations to our industry practitioners from ITRMC, KAYU Kitchen + Bar, Conti’s Bakeshop & Restaurant, and local food entrepreneurs, among others, who successfully earned their Cookery NC II certification through TESDA’s CACW Program, providing qualified workers the opportunity to have their skills assessed and certified for free.

For one of our passers, this certification will also fulfill a requirement for his upcoming journey to Europe.

What is CACW?
Competency Assessment and Certification for Workers (CACW) is a TESDA program that provides experienced industry workers the opportunity to earn a National Certificate (NC) by demonstrating their skills—without undergoing training.

Who can apply?
Individuals with relevant work experience in Cookery NC II who have not yet obtained an NC for the qualification.

Is the assessment really free?
Yes. The assessment is FREE for qualified applicants under the CACW program.

Do I need to undergo training first?
No. CACW is intended for workers who have already acquired the required skills through actual work experience.

How many slots are available?
Only 20 slots are available. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

What will I receive if I pass?
Successful candidates will be awarded a TESDA National Certificate (NC II).

How can I register?

A little late, but some victories deserve to be celebrated no matter when they're shared!

Last May 26, our Cookery NC II trainees, together with three walk-in applicants, took a bold step toward their dreams as they underwent their competency assessment. Today, our hearts are filled with joy and pride as we celebrate their success—they are now officially NC II Passers!

Every hour of practice, every challenge they overcame, and every effort they poured into this journey has led to this incredible milestone. We couldn't be happier to witness them achieve something they truly worked hard for.
