Today, September 23, 2026, Centex Batangas proudly welcomed the evaluators for the Search for Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (GPP) Best Implementer – Term 1, School Year 2026–2027.

The school garden evaluation highlighted our continuous commitment to promoting sustainable gardening, nutrition education, environmental awareness, and food security through the active implementation of the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program.

CENTEX Batangas, in collaboration with its school personnel, successfully conducted the 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐆𝐀𝐃) 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 on September 19–20, 2026, held at Mother’s Wonderland Function Hall, Tayabas, Quezon, and CENTEX Batangas.

Anchored on the theme “𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻-𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆,” the two-day program aimed to enhance the capacity of school personnel to promote inclusive protection, coordinated emergency response, resilience, and the well-being of every member of the school community.

The SPTA Officers and Teachers of CENTEX Batangas convened yesterday, September 17, 2026, for a productive meeting headed by Dr. Lorilyn D. Ebreo, School Head.

The meeting focused on strengthening school-community partnership through important discussions on the SPTA communication templates, Parents-On-Duty Program implementation, DepEd Zero Collection Policy, grade-level responsibilities, proposed SPTA projects, and GPP enhancement initiatives.

Through open communication and collaboration, the school and its stakeholders continue to work hand-in-hand in providing a safe, supportive, and meaningful learning environment for all learners.

On September 18, 2026, our students gathered at Magiting Hall for an empowering Recollection Activity themed "𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐗: 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 - 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬."

Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to Every Nation Campus (ENC) team for leading such inspiring and practical sessions for our youth. We also extend our deepest thanks to our dedicated School Principal Dr. Lorilyn D. Ebreo, whose supportive leadership and commitment to holistic student growth opened the doors for this impactful gathering to take place.

Sentinels learned that choosing rest is key to overcoming burnout, and that wisely managing God's daily 24 hours helps them accomplish their goals while staying energized.

MONITORING OF SCHOOL INNOVATION AND IMPROVEMENT FUND (SIIF) UTILIZATION FOR LITERACY AND NUMERACY REMEDIATION PROGRAM

CENTEX Batangas welcomed Mrs. Andrea Maybel E. Abrencillo, Education Program Supervisor (EPS) of DepEd Region IV-A CALABARZON, for the monitoring of the School Innovation and Improvement Fund (SIIF) Utilization for the Literacy and Numeracy Remediation Program.

Mrs. Abrencillo was accompanied by Dr. Mario B. Maramot, SGOD Chief, and Mrs. Cora V. Samson, SEPS, SGOD, of the Schools Division Office of Batangas Province.

The monitoring focused on the utilization of SIIF and the implementation of literacy and numeracy remediation interventions aimed at addressing learners’ needs and strengthening foundational skills.

CENTEX Batangas extends its sincere appreciation to Mrs. Abrencillo and the SDO Batangas Province officials for their valuable guidance, technical assistance, and continued support in improving program implementation and learner outcomes.

ROOF REPAINTING OF GLOBAL FILIPINO SCHOOL (GFS) ROOM / COMPUTER LABORATORY

In preparation for the opening of the Term 2 Instructional Block, the roof repainting of the Global Filipino School (GFS) Room / Computer Laboratory was successfully carried out on Monday, September 15, 2026.

The activity was led by PTA President Mr. Ronald Baculi, with the active participation of parent representatives from Kindergarten to Grade 3, under the guidance and support of School Principal Dr. Lorilyn Ebreo.

This collaborative effort reflects the shared commitment of the school and its parents to providing learners with a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment.

Together, we continue to prepare better spaces where our learners can learn, grow, and thrive.

STRENGTHENING INCLUSIVE EDUCATION THROUGH PROFESSIONAL GROWTH

CENTEX Batangas Kindergarten teachers, Teacher Joy Canete, Teacher Jessa Calanog, and Teacher Melanie Castillo, participated in Batch 2 of the 2026 Training on Strengthening Inclusive Education: Building Responsive Learning Communities, held at Rosario Resort and Hotel, Brgy. Quilib, Rosario, Batangas.

The training provided meaningful opportunities for teachers to deepen their knowledge and strengthen their practices in creating inclusive, responsive, and learner-centered environments that recognize and address the diverse needs of every learner.

Through the sessions and collaborative activities, the participants gained valuable insights and strategies that they can bring back to their classrooms to further enrich the learning experiences of their young learners.

CENTEX Batangas extends its sincere gratitude to DepEd Schools Division of Batangas Province for providing this valuable professional development opportunity and for its continued efforts in strengthening inclusive education across the Division.

CENTEX BATANGAS EDUCATORS SHARE EXPERTISE IN BAUAN WEST SUB-OFFICE INSET

CENTEX Batangas proudly recognizes Teacher Carina R. Dimauhan and Teacher Reynel D. Castillo for serving as two of the three resource speakers during the Bauan West Sub-Office INSET conducted via Google Meet on September 11, 2026.

Teacher Carina facilitated the session “AI-Powered Teaching and Assessment: Designing Better Learning Opportunities,” highlighting the meaningful integration of artificial intelligence in enhancing teaching and assessment practices.

Teacher Reynel, meanwhile, led an actual demonstration on “Using Canva AI Tools,” providing participants with practical ways to maximize AI-powered features in creating and enhancing instructional materials.

Their participation as resource speakers reflects CENTEX Batangas educators’ commitment not only to continuous professional growth but also to sharing their knowledge and skills with fellow teachers across the sub-office.

CENTEX BATANGAS JOINS KAYSIPAG 2026

CENTEX Batangas proudly recognizes its Grade 6 learners, John Russel D. Dalangin and Bryan Matthew C. Manalo, for representing the school in the Kahusayan sa Sipnayan at Agham (KaySipAg) 2026, held on September 11, 2026, at the E.O. Tan Hall, Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD), Los Baños, Laguna.

The regional competition brought together young learners from across CALABARZON to showcase their knowledge in Science and Mathematics and put their critical thinking and problem-solving skills to the test.

CENTEX Batangas commends John Russel and Bryan Matthew for embracing the challenge and giving their best throughout the competition. The school likewise extends its appreciation to their coach, Teacher Ivy Frogosa, for her dedicated guidance, encouragement, and support in preparing the learners for this meaningful academic experience.

In response to the evolving demands of education in the digital age, CENTEX Batangas conducted its 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗻-𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗧) on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at the CENTEX Batangas Global Filipino School (GFS) Room/Computer Laboratory. Anchored on the theme “𝙏𝙀𝘼𝘾𝙃 𝙎𝙈𝘼𝙍𝙏: 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙩𝙝,” the training aimed to strengthen teachers’ knowledge and practical skills in using Artificial Intelligence (AI) responsibly and effectively in their teaching and professional work.

The activity provided an avenue for teachers to explore how AI can support lesson preparation, assessment, instructional material development, documentation, research, communication, and other professional tasks while emphasizing ethical use, data privacy, academic integrity, and teacher accountability.

The first session, “𝗔𝗜 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀: 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗜 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆,” was facilitated by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗗. 𝗘𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗼, School Principal. The session established a strong foundation on AI and generative AI, including their opportunities and limitations, responsible use, data privacy, academic integrity, and effective prompt building.

𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗥. 𝗗𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻 facilitated the second session, “𝗔𝗜-𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀.” The discussion centered on using AI to support lesson planning, differentiated instruction, learning activities, instructional materials, questioning techniques, formative assessment, rubrics, and meaningful feedback.

The third session, “𝗔𝗜 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻,” was facilitated by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗗. 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼, Teacher VI. The session demonstrated how AI can assist teachers in documentation, reflection, action research, professional learning, communication, resource development, and improving work efficiency. Participants also developed practical AI-assisted resources through the “My AI-Ready Teacher Toolkit” workshop.

Through TEACH SMART, CENTEX Batangas continues to promote a culture of innovation and continuous professional development, equipping teachers with relevant skills to harness emerging technologies while keeping sound professional judgment, responsibility, and the needs of learners at the heart of education.
