𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦!

𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 secured the 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗽 in the first-ever 𝗨𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗗 𝗘𝗦𝗣: 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 (𝗪𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗥) 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Grade 12 STEM Senior High School students Francis Xavier T. Ocon, Diosafaye Grace A. Arquillano, John Vincent M. Bansag, James Roy L. Maghuyop, and Kristel Gwyn Q. Ugat presented and defended their idea titled “𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘃: 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗧𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀”.

The participants presented via Zoom, and their Science Coordinator, Mrs. Clarita C. Pajo traveled all the way from Tagbilaran City, Bohol to Manila to represent the university and support her brilliant students. The National Level of the Ideation Competition took place on May 10, 2024, at the Institute of Biology Auditorium, UP Diliman, Quezon City.

Black Saturday

On this Holy Day, let us all find the strenth and courage to endure and believe, to hold onto His promise of light. May we all be renewed and strengthen our faith, for even in darkness, there will be a flicker of hope.
