𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴! 🍜✨

Last weekz August 19 and 20, 2025, our school community witnessed two consecutive days of care and compassion through a Feeding Program that nourished not just the body but also the heart. This meaningful activity was made possible through the generous sponsorship of the family of the late Lt. Col. Manuel Serranilla and Mrs. Estelita De Lima, whose legacy of kindness continues to live on in the lives they touch.

For two straight days, school children gathered to share meals, smiles, and stories, reminding that small acts of generosity can create ripples of hope and joy in the community. The event did not only provide nourishment but also strengthened bonds of unity, faith, and bayanihan.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Serranilla and De Lima families for their unwavering support and commitment to service. May the memory of Lt. Col. Manuel Serranilla inspire us all to lead lives of purpose, while the generosity of Mrs. Estelita De Lima reminds us that giving is a true expression of love.

On August 12 and August 14, 2025, Agos Elementary School successfully conducted a feeding program for our learners. This meaningful activity was sponsored again by the family of the late Lt. Col. Manuel Serranilla and Mrs. Estelita De Lima, whose generosity continues to inspire and uplift our community.

Through this program, our pupils not only received healthy and delicious meals but also felt the care and support of people who value their well-being and education. The smiles on their faces reflected the joy brought by this act of kindness. 🥰🍲

We sincerely thank the Serranilla and De Lima families for sharing their blessings with our learners. Your legacy of love and compassion lives on through these children, who are the future of our community.

Last week, Agos Elementary School once again felt the warmth of community care through a double feeding activity generously sponsored by the family of the late Lt. Col. Manuel Serranilla and Estelita De Lima.

The feeding program was held last Wednesday and Thursday, providing nutritious meals to our learners and bringing smiles to their faces. This initiative not only filled stomachs but also nurtured the spirit of compassion and generosity among our young learners.

The school community deeply appreciates the continuous support of the Serranilla family, whose commitment to the welfare of our children remains steadfast. Through their generosity, they have honored the memory of their loved ones while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our pupils.

Isinagawa ngayong araw sa Agos Elementary School ang Pasinaya sa Pampaaralang Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa na may temang: “Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa.” Layunin ng temang ito na bigyang-halaga ang papel ng wikang Filipino at mga katutubong wika bilang tulay tungo sa pambansang pagkakaisa at pagkakaunawaan.

Pinangunahan ng mga g**o at mag-aaral ang makabuluhang pagbubukas ng pagdiriwang sa pamamagitan ng maikling programa na nagbigay-pugay sa ating pambansang wika. Bilang bahagi ng programa, ginawaran ng pagkilala ang mga g**o na naging aktibong tagapagtaguyod ng Project WATCH (We Advocate Time Consciousness and Honesty) para sa buwan ng Hulyo. Ang naturang pagkilala ay patunay ng suporta ng paaralan sa disiplina, katapatan, at kahusayan sa serbisyo ng mga g**o sa Agos ES.

Nagbigay rin ng inspiradong mensahe si Sir Salvador S. Docot, ang ulong g**o ng Agos ES, kung saan kanyang binigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng pagpapaunlad ng wikang Filipino at mga katutubong wika bilang pundasyon ng pambansang identidad at pagkakaisa.

Agos Elementary School proudly celebrated Nutrition Month 2025 yesterday with the theme of promoting healthy lifestyles through proper nutrition and wellness activities. The event was spearheaded by our committed School Nutrition Coordinator, Ma'am Nimfa R. Ramboyong, with the full support of our school head, Sir Salvador S. Docot, and the entire Agos ES teaching force.

A special highlight of the celebration was the feeding program (lunch) generously sponsored by the family of Lt. Col. Manuel Serranilla and Estelita De Lima. Your unwavering support deeply nourished our learners, not just physically, but emotionally as well. Thank you for your big heart!

The celebration also marked the official launching of the Agos ES Minorettes and Drum & Lyre Corps (DLC), a proud milestone for our school in enriching learners' talents and instilling discipline and teamwork through music and performance.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our SPTA President, Mr. Noel Dipacula, for the strong parental support, and to Brgy. Councilor Hon. Vilma Noda, Committee on Education, for her unrelenting encouragement and presence. We are equally honored and thankful for the inspiring message from our Guest Speaker, Nurse Mylene M. Lanuzga, whose words empowered our learners to embrace healthier choices every day.

Pursuant to the updated Advisory issued by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), through Secretary Juanito Victor "Jovic" Remulla, and in consideration of the heavy rainfall caused by the Southwest Moonsoon, the following are hereby ordered:

(1) Classes at all levels, both in public and private schools within the municipality of Bato are hereby suspended on July 25, 2025.

(2) Works in all departments and offices of the Local Government Unit of Bato is likewise suspended on July 25, 2025, except the following that are mandated to continue operations due to essential nature of their services:

(a) Office of the Municipal Mayor
(b) Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO)
(c) Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO)
(d) Municipal Health Office (MHO)
(e) General Services Office (GSO)
(f) Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO)
(g) Municipal Engineering Office (MEO)
(h) Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO)

(3) Other offices and agencies may implement hybrid or alternative work arrangements as determined by their respective heads.

Today marked the day as Agos Elementary School fully showcased the power of volunteerism and community spirit as the General RABUS (Brigada Plus) was fully executed around the school. As always, the SPTA Officers spearheaded this activity and as usual, were joined by all parents from every grade under the leadership of SPTA President, Noel P. Dipacula.

Armed with shovels, brooms, and other cleaning supplies under the sun, the parents, along with the officers, rolled up their sleeves to scrub down the school’s premises, cleared pathways, pruned overgrown grass, and enhanced the general vicinity—making certain that the school fosters a safe, inviting, and motivational space for its learners.

These activities are part of the wider ongoing spirits of Brigada Eskwela Plus, a concept that relies heavily, in this case, on a sustained community and collaborative engagement for continuous school improvement.

Thank you very much to all the parents who were able to attend today’s activity, and special thanks to SPTA leaders for their tremendous support. It is all of you that make this effort worthwhile. 💚

Agos Elementary School ushered in the new school year with joy, thanks to the kindness of the Serranilla Family, who sponsored two batches of feeding activities for our school children this week — on Tuesday and Thursday. Their gesture gave our learners nutritious meals, many of whom stand to gain immensely from such gestures.

The two-day feeding initiative was a great way to begin the school year, reminding all of us of the energy of community and kindness. Warm, nourishing meals were prepared and served with love, spreading smiles and vitality to our young minds. With bellies full of food, students felt more energized to participate actively in their classes, contributing to a healthier learning and growing environment.

This program not only aided the physical health of our learners but also boosted their morale upon returning to school. The Serranilla Family's gesture is an eloquent demonstration of how collaborations between schools and stakeholders can be truly beneficial.
