The dream of the people of barangay Lobong, Bato, Camarines Sur, and the other neighboring barangays to have a high school, was realized through the help of people who have a generous heart, who have concern for others, and most especially who believe that education plays a vital role in a community. Through the initiative of former barangay council Hon. Rapala, and also the incumbent barangay cou

ncil: Brgy Captain Hon. Toldanes Sr., Hon Dominador Edroso, Hon. Editha Ramos, Hon. Rustria, Hon. Tanay, Hon. Yolanda Rongap, Hon Jocelyn A. Espiritu and Hon. Editha Ramos donated a portion of the site. Of course, people won’t forget the efforts made by Hon. Dominador Edroso, as committee on Education, Municipal Kgwd. Hon Darwin O. Doctolero, Municipal Mayor Hon. Jeanette O. Bernaldez passed the resolution and was approved. This was established on March 10, 2012, through the great efforts barangay council. Through the active participation of the barangay council and the parents of Lobong and other neighboring barangays has contributed to the construction of the first and temporary classroom to accommodate the Grade VII students. The sole pioneer teacher on June 11, 2012, was Mrs. Mercy A. Escuro; Teacher III, was deployed by Mr. Crecencio Nacario, Principal of Salvacion National High School, to teach the students. And by January 2013, one teacher was added in the name of Ms. Juvie-Joy L. Mamansag and by June 2014 Ms. Daisy R. Villoso, Ms. Jennylyn A. Quite, Ms. Shiela Lllagas, and Mrs. Nizyl E. Manaog rendered services as volunteer teachers, and the honorarium was financed by the local government unit of barangay Lobong and municipality of Bato. As years passed, the parents of the pioneer students through the active participation of Brgy. Captain Hon Arnulfo A. Toldanes and his council in 2014, built one (1) concrete building with 2 classrooms through the KALAHI-CIDSS to suffice the needs of the students, the population grew and more help from stakeholders and from the government kept pouring in. At present, the population of DSHS is more than 100 students from Grade 7 to Grade 10 under the present administration of Mrs. Escuro with seven (7) permanent teachers and four (4) locally assisted teachers. With the support of Hon. Toldanes, the present Barangay Captain, Hon. Frech T. Gonzales, the barangay committee on Education, the parents, the community, Divine Shepherd High School is continuously striving and nurturing future good citizens through the quality and best education it offers.

Isang maipagmamalaking tagumpay! Congratulations, Divine Shepherd High School sa pagkamit ng WinS Sustainability Award!

Ang parangal na ito ay bunga ng ating pagkakaisa at ibinahaging pangako para sa isang mas malinis at mas malusog na komunidad.

Taos-pusong pasasalamat kay Ma'am Maribeth Obis (WinS Coordinator), Sir Luis R. Adante (School Head), Nurse Kay (Bato District Division Nurse In-charge), at Dr. Eleanor S. Bello (PSDS) sa kanilang paggabay at pamumuno.

Lubos din ang pasasalamat sa ating SPTA, masisipag na mga G**o, sa Barangay LGU sa pamumuno ni Brgy. Captain Richard Pomay, at sa lahat ng ating stakeholders na naging katuwang sa karangalang ito.

Divinians’ First Steps into the Karanowan Fishtival

With grateful hearts, we extend our sincerest appreciation to everyone who became part of Divine Shepherd High School’s journey in the Karanowan Fishtival Street Dance Competition in celebration of the 273rd Bato Foundation Anniversary.

This milestone is truly meaningful for us, as it marks the first time the Divinians bravely competed in this vibrant cultural event. Your support, encouragement, and generosity made this experience unforgettable for our learners.

In three unforgettable days filled with courage, perseverance, and unbreakable spirit, our Bato District Arnis Warriors shone brightly at the Division Selection for Arnis Event in Buhi last December 9–11, 2025.
