Today, Our Lord Saviour Academy joins the nation in remembering Benigno โ€œNinoyโ€ Aquino Jr.โ€”a Filipino senator, statesman, and advocate for democracy whose courage and sacrifice became part of our nationโ€™s history.

August 21 marks the anniversary of his return to the Philippines in 1983, a moment that would become a significant turning point in the countryโ€™s struggle for democracy.

More than remembering a historical figure, may this day remind our learners that courage means standing for what is right, service means putting others before self, and freedom comes with responsibility.

May we remember the past, honor the sacrifice, and inspire the next generation to serve our country with character, integrity, and love for the Philippines. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

Last Saturday, August 15, OLSA students had the privilege of witnessing *๐‘๐ข๐ณ๐š๐ฅ ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ* โ€” a Broadway World Award-winning futuristic musical by Vince Taรฑada that reimagines what the world might look like if the memory of Dr. Josรฉ Rizal were nearly lost to time.

More than a theatrical production, it was a moment of reflection. The music, drama, and spectacle on stage brought questions to life that matter deeply: What does it mean to be Filipino? What happens when a people forgets where they came from? And what responsibility do we โ€” especially the young โ€” carry into the future?

Our students left the venue not just entertained, but challenged. In a world where technology moves fast and history can feel distant, *Rizal 3000* reminded us that the values that define us โ€” freedom, identity, patriotism, and faith in who we are โ€” must never be set aside.
