Innovate, Integrate, Inspire: Shaping the Future of IT Successors

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology's Orientation and Election for Academic Year 2026–2027, held at the Palawan State University – Bataraza Campus Library, was a great success.

The event was led by the BSIT Program Head, Ms. Arianne Kaye L. Jagmis, together with BSIT Instructor Mr. Mohammar Arabia, with the assistance of the program hosts, Ms. Myrah Parcon and Mr. Yahya Kissae.

The theme, "Innovate, Integrate, Inspire: Shaping the Future of IT Successors," reflects the vision of every IT student to innovate, collaborate, and inspire one another. It reminds us that shaping the future of Information Technology begins with working hand in hand, creating meaningful ideas, and giving our best today for a better tomorrow.

The event included the orientation of first-year to fourth-year BSIT students, the election of the new set of BSIT officers, and the warm welcome of the first-year IT students as they officially begin their journey in the department.

The following are the newly elected BSIT officers for Academic Year 2026–2027:

Governor: Jenny Rose Arban
Vice Governor: Ahmad Tabuacar
Secretary: Normina Omar
Treasurer: Trina Joyce Flores
Auditor: Almarie Hampson
Public Information Officer (P.I.O.): Rica Suaib
Grievance Officer: John Lloyd De Luis
Project Manager: Normaida Abordo
4th Year Representative: Arjida A bang and Monaliza Gujilde
3rd Year Representative: Marwin Francisco and Karl Vincent Muay
2nd Year Representative: Jullmher Medlina and Junaiza Estopin
1st Year Representative: Baslymar Solaiman and Christine Loque

Year Level Representatives are yet to be announced.

As a new academic year begins, may these newly elected leaders serve with commitment, uphold the values of the department, and continue to innovate, integrate, and inspire every BSIT student.
