History made. Mission accomplished. The LPU-Batangas Pirates are your NCAA Season 27 Men’s Basketball CHAMPIONS!

Since joining the National Collegiate Athletic Association in 2003, we’ve been chasing this dream, and now, 23 years in the making, the championship is finally ours! From the tip-off to the final buzzer at the Quizon Gym last April 28, our boys played with nothing but heart to bring the title home.

A huge shoutout to the unstoppable Alpha Bah for his dominant performance and for taking home the Finals MVP trophy!

Behind every great team is a legendary crew that steered the ship to success. This historic victory was made possible through the guidance of Dr. Fe Medina, Managing Consultant for Sports and External Affairs, and the strategic leadership and dedication of Head Coach Mr. John Cyrlo T. Nuyles, together with Assistant Coaches Mr. Joson M. Misolas and Mr. Jay Reman D. Axalan.

Signaling a transformative advancement in institutional sustainability, Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU)-Batangas and Laguna have been formally recognized as a Renewable Energy Consumer by First Gen Corporation.

The certification affirms the university’s transition to 100% renewable energy through Bac-Man Geothermal Inc. for the period 2026 to 2029, reflecting a strategic commitment to carbon reduction and the integration of environmentally responsible practices toward a decarbonized and regenerative academic environment.

This initiative substantively advances the attainment of Sustainable Development Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and Sustainable Development Goal 13 (Climate Action).

Rising with purpose and steadily carving her name across every milestone, Althea Danielle Q. Guerra, Bachelor of Multimedia Arts, Summa Cum Laude of Batch 2025, continues to leave a remarkable mark of excellence as she is recognized as the Outstanding Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) Youth Achiever of Region IV-A CALABARZON.

This recognition was conferred by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region IV-A in celebration of the 124th Labor Day with the theme: “Disenteng Trabaho Para sa Lahat: Iisang Hangarin, Bagong Pilipinas Sama-samang Mararating.”

Through her achievements, she inspires fellow youth to strive for excellence and actively contribute to nation-building.
