The entire LPU-Batangas community is bursting with absolute pride tonight! A massive congratulations to our very own Carlos Antonio E. Delos Reyes (BS IHM-HRA) for officially capturing the BRONZE MEDAL in the Hotel Reception Category at the prestigious WORLD SKILLS SHANGHAI 2026 today, September 27, in Shanghai, China!

This remarkable achievement is a moment of immense pride for the entire LPU Batangas community and the Filipino nation. Carlos has demonstrated world-class hospitality skills, dedication, and excellence, proving that Filipino talent can compete and shine among the best in the world!

We also send our loudest cheers and deepest gratitude to his incredible Expert and mentor, Mr. Nomer Yuzon, for helping guide Carlos to this historic international victory!

This bronze medal is a testament to Filipino excellence, the strength of hospitality education, and the global competitiveness of LPU-Batangas–CITHM. Carlos, you have made your university, your community, and the entire Philippines proud!

Honoring the roots of Lycean excellence.

Today, the LPU community comes together for a special Commemorative Program marking the 108th Birth Anniversary of Senator Sotero H. Laurel.

The solemn gathering began with a Thanksgiving Mass led by Rev. Msgr. Alfredo “Fred” A. Madlangbayan, bringing the community together in faith and gratitude. It is a beautiful moment of unity as LPU Manila, LPU-Batangas, LPU St. Cabrini, LPU Laguna, and LPU Cavite share the stage to offer testimonials and tribute songs. Making this occasion even more meaningful is the presence of the Laurel family, spanning generations from the Senator's children to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all joining us in celebrating his remarkable life.

This gathering not only honors his memory but also solidifies our unified mission to uphold strong institutions (SDG 16) and lifelong learning (SDG 4) across all our campuses.

The Pilipinas Shell Foundation continues its commitment to community health through the Medical and Dental Mission, with the support of the Community Extension Office, in partnership with LPU-Batangas, and with the participation of the College of Nursing, BS Pharmacy, and the University Medical and Dental Clinic, at the New Covered Court, Sitio New San Vicente, Libjo Batangas City.

Bringing essential healthcare services closer to the community, Lyceans come together to provide free medical and dental services, promoting accessible healthcare and supporting the well-being of our community members.
