The MATHinik Organization successfully conducted the inaugural Pi-Tagisan sa Lohika at Sipnayan (Pi-TALASAN) 2026, a regional mathematics competition highlighting mathematical excellence of CALABARZON students. The Elimination Round was held online last March 21, while the Final Round was held at the Multi-Purpose Gymnaisum of PSHS CALABARZONRC in Batangas City last March 28.

To our esteemed judges, Ma’am P, Ma’am Sie, and Sir Romeo, we extend our deepest gratitude for your invaluable guidance, expertise, and support throughout the preparation and ex*****on of this event. Your insights enriched the experience for all participants and coaches, making Pi-TALASAN meaningful and memorable.

To the MATHinik Executive and Ad Hoc Committees, this event would not have been possible without your unwavering commitment. Despite academic responsibilities and deadlines, you chose to step up and dedicate your time and effort to ensure the success of this competition.

We also extend our appreciation to the students, coaches, and schools, who participated in this inaugural competition. In every problem you solved, you embodied the MATHinik motto, “Sa bawat problema, may solusyon,” proving that no obstacle is impossible as long as you persevere.

As MATHinik concludes the celebration of Mathematics Month with the theme “Mathematics and Hope,” may we all be reminded of the beauty, relevance, and power of mathematics in our everyday lives. May this event inspire us to think deeper, strive further, and carry the lessons we’ve learned into the challenges that lie ahead.
