ALLEGIANT 2019-2020
We ALLEGIANT is an organization of Batangas State University, Integrated School Department - Junior High School, specifically classified as a Socio-Civic and Religious College-Based student organization. We was formed by merging the three organizations of the Integrated School Department - Junior High School to work as one, united in faith, leading the whole Integrated School community to administer the true essence of Christian life. BatStateU Campus Ministry, CFC-Youth For Christ High School Based, and CFC-Youth for Family and Life High School Based, hand-in-hand constructed the organization together with the help of each others in accordance to the wish of the head office of the university to bring together alike organizations. The following are the list of the current ALLEGIANT Officers together with its adviser.

We ALLEGIANT is committed to live out the faith that creates relevant impact to the society.
VISION
Young people being and bringing Christ wherever they are. A growing young students, daughters/sons and a responsible citizens having a steadfast and personal relationship with God as the holders of tomorrow’s hope. Christians who are one.
MISSION
We, the young pilgrims of Batangas State University commit ourselves to nurture in our lives the values: Peace, Spirituality and Humility by being Christ-centered and prayerful that will lead to the path of holiness through service, allegiant to our faith, guided by the holy spirit. We promote unity in diversity, we are for everyone.
GOALS
To make our co-students so familiar with the essentials of the Christians’ faith, so whenever an obstruction arises, their faith would not be severed. We also want to develop student leaders and cultivate a faith — driven community through this 4Fs:
FUN
Being young means having fun. ALLEGIANT promotes and supports the dynamism of
the youths’ thirst to enjoy life by empowering them to live it to the fullest. We
encourages a good and clean fun.
FRIENDSHIP
This is the time of life when the youth begin to form a long lasting relationships with
their peers. ALLEGIANT encourages friendship among young people, enabling them to
see God in every individual they encounter. We allow the youth to experience new
things, to learn and to grow with friends.
FREEDOM
One can barely contain the enthusiasm of a spirit. We ALLEGIANT want the youth to
experience freedom from sins, from insecurities and from difficulties in the past, as well
as the freedom to e press love and to become the individuals whom God meant them to
be.
FAITH
None of the three can be fully experienced without the faith in God. We ALLEGIANT
wants to teach the Batang IS and the youth, the faith that they may better appreciate the
abundant blessings they receive in their lives.
OBJECTIVES
The purpose of ALLEGIANT is to bring to the educational institutions the vision and the values of Christian living as a response to the felt needs and aspirations of the students, faculty, administrator and others related by employment to the institution of learning through the grace of God, adhering the vision, mission and core values of the univerrsity.
Constitutions and By-Laws
PREAMBLE
We, members of ALLEGIANT of BatState-U Main Campus-I, exist to equip young people to develop a deeper relationship with Christ, encourage uplifting relationships with other Christians, and empower life changing relationships with everyone.
It is our privilege and responsibility to pastor the youth toward Christ and His Church, and to guide them in their holistic–physical, mental, psychological, emotional, rational, spiritual–growth.
We are invoking our natural rights to come together in self-organization in order to live its vision as a leading religious student organization that will serve as training ground for the different aspiring professions; hereby adopt and promulgate this charter and by-laws.
ARTICLE I – NAME
Section 1 The organization shall be known as ALLEGIANT
Section 2 The office shall be located at Pablo Borbon Main Campus 1, Batangas State
University
ARTICLE II – OBJECTIVES
Section 1 a. To develop young adults as role models and to provide opportunities for
spiritual leadership among teenagers.
b. Share to the young the knowledge of God and His Church
c. Build and strengthen young men and women in true brotherhood and
sisterhood as sons and daughters of God.
d. Celebrate the gift of faith and youthfulness as one community with the
Church
ARTICLE III – MEMBERSHIP
Section 1 BatStateU ALLEGIANT is open to all bonafide students of Batangas State
University, Integrated School—Junior High School Department, Pablo
Borbon Main Campus I.
Section 2 All officers and members shall contribute a monetary amount of Php 40.00
for affiliation/membership fee.
Section 3 In order to maintain active membership status, a member must participate in
regular meetings and clubs.
Section 4 All members must be aware and must support all the activities of the
organization.
Section 5 Every member shall attend the meeting as required by the head of the
organization.
ARTICLE IV – ELECTION AND SUCCESSION OF THE OFFICE
Section 1 Election may be held when an office is declared vacant.
Section 2 All members shall compose the general assembly to elect the core group
officials that will assume the college-based students’ organization government. Section 3 If in case that there is no rival/opponent for a certain position, the candidate
should still earn at least half the votes of all the voters or thus, it will not be
valid, and will need for another election.
Section 4 Candidates for President, Vice Presidents and Secretary shall be an incoming
Grade 10.
Section 5 Succession should be in the following manner
a. When the president is incapable of performing his duties due to any cause,
the executive vice president should take his/her post.
b. The succession will be true to the lowest position
Section 6 Tenure of Office
a. The elected officers of the organization will serve for one year. They may
serve for another year upon re-election.
Section 7 Results of Ratification
a. Students should not have any records of major offenses, or else their
candidacy will be denied.
ARTICLE V – OFFICERS AND THEIR DUTIES
Section 1 The office of the association shall be President, Executive Vice President, Vice
President for Internal Affairs, Vice President for Evangelization/External
Affairs, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, Business Manager, Public Relation
Officer (P.R.O.), and Chapter Officers/Level Representatives (one for each
grade level).
Section 2 Officers shall serve for one year. Officer can be re-elected at the close of the
year.
Section 3 Officers shall be governing the policy making body of the organization. Section 4 The President shall lead all meetings. He/She works hand-in-hand with the
Organization Adviser for the formation of the club. He/She shall always
represent the organization and leads the club meeting.
The Vice Presidents shall serve as president in the event of the president
being absent or unable to fulfill his/her duties. He/She, also always assist
and help hand-in-hand with the president.
The Executive Vice President shall be the overall head of the
three Vice Presidents.
The Vice President for Internal Affairs shall manage inside
activities, within the campus.
The Vice President for Evangelization/External Affairs
shall manage outside affairs of the organization.
The Secretary shall record the minutes of every meeting, notice all members
of incoming meetings, and keep an orderly file of records of the organization.
He/she is also the one tasked to do most of the paper works: Letter for
Renewal or Recognition, Letter for Approval, Accomplishment Report and
the likes.
The Treasurer shall manage the finances of the club and record all monetary
donations, expenses, and income made to the organization.
The Auditor shall be responsible in auditing and recording the financial
statement or certifications of accounts and shall be responsible for the book of
the accounts of the organization. Must keep and take care of all receipts.
The Business Manager shall assist the president in carrying out the project
and activities of the organization and perform other functions related to
his/her office.
The Public Relation Officer shall always update the group, both members
and non-members. Manage and keep in tract of the organization’s social
media accounts.
The Chapter Officers shall be the representative of their grade level in the
organization and the organization’s representative in their grade levels. Section 5 The first 9 officers shall be elected and win their positions in an official
election.
Section 6 Officers shall be elected during summer each year from the pool of
nomination. Active members seeking office may nominate themselves or be
nominated by others.
Section 7 Vacancies shall be filled immediately by quorum of active members
Section 8 The organization shall operate and function with the guide of this law and in
conformity with the school rule policies and regulations.
ARTICLE VI – GROUND FOR IMPEACHMENTS AND REVOCATION OF A MEMBER
Section 1 Any officer of the organization who may be guilty of misconduct, incapacity to
perform his/her duties, may be removed from his/her office by a resolution
duly constituted and submitted by at least two-thirds of the officers of the
organization for appropriate decision. If a resolution is adopted, the vacancy
will be piled up immediately in accordance with Article V, Section 7 of this
Constitution.
Section 2 Any officer who fails to attend three consecutive meeting without valid reason
shall be removed from his/her position.
ARTICLE VII – MEETINGS
Section 1 Monthly meetings will be held on the day and time of the President’s choosing
that will comply with the schedule of the majority of members.
Section 2 Special meetings can be called by any officer if the need arises.
Section 3 Fifty percent of active members constitute a quorum.
ARTICLE VIII – AMENDMENTS
Section 1 This constitution may be amended at any regular meeting of the association
by two-thirds vote, provided the amendment has been submitted in writing at
the previous regular meeting.
ARTICLE IX – BY-LAWS
Section 1 By-laws to this constitution may be added at any regular meeting of the
association by two-thirds vote, provided the by-laws have been submitted in
writing at the previous regular meeting.
