SNED in Balete Elementary School joyfully marked National Intellectual Disability Week with the theme " Ginintuang Ani ng Pag- ibig Tungo sa Mataggumpay at Tunay na Inklusyon" with activities that highlighted inclusion, creativity, and community spirit. The celebration began with a short parade around the campus, where learners, teachers, and our dear Principal III Mrs. Mildred I. Lontok proudly walked together, carrying banners and wearing bright smiles to show support for children with diverse abilities.

After the parade, students gathered for a lively coloring contest, designed to encourage self-expression and showcase artistic talents. The activity provided a fun and engaging way for learners to celebrate individuality while fostering camaraderie among classmates.

The event reflected the school’s commitment to promoting awareness, acceptance, and respect for persons with intellectual disabilities. Through these simple yet meaningful activities, Balete Elementary School strengthened its culture of inclusivity and reminded everyone that every child deserves to shine.

At Balete Elementary School, the SNED class joyfully celebrated Pre-Valentine’s Day with a simple yet meaningful activity. The classroom was filled with excitement as our learners created their own coloring Valentine’s cards. With crayons in hand and bright smiles on their faces, they carefully colored hearts, flowers, and sweet messages for their families and friends.

This activity not only sparked their creativity but also helped develop their fine motor skills and self-expression. More importantly, it allowed them to experience the true spirit of Valentine’s Day—sharing love, kindness, and appreciation. It was a heartwarming celebration that brought happiness to everyone in our SNED classroom. ❤️

Pancake designing helps SNED learners develop creativity, fine motor skills, and confidence through a fun, hands-on activity. It also encourages self-expression, focus, and social interaction in an enjoyable and supportive learning environment. 🥞✨

Ngayong linggo, nakikiisa ang Balete Elementary School sa paggunita ng ika-30 National Autism Consciousness Week (NACW) na gaganapin mula Enero 19–25, 2026, na may temang:

“Mula Kamalayan Tungo sa Gawa: Pag-unlad ng Autism-OK Philippines.”

Layunin ng pagdiriwang na palalimin ang kaalaman ng publiko tungkol sa autism upang matiyak ang mas angkop, maagap, at inklusibong pagtugon sa pangangailangan ng mga taong nasa autism spectrum at kanilang mga pamilya.
