It is a stark dishonor to the memory of our martyrs that the nation they bought with blood is treated as a mere enterprise by those greedy for power. Habang nagtitiis ang karaniwang mamamayan sa taas ng bilihin at kawalan ng oportunidad, ang ilan ay abala sa pagpapalaki ng kani-kanilang mga dinastiya. What good is a nation free from foreign shadows if its own people are still bound by the heavy chains of systemic greed?

Hindi tayo nagbabayad ng buwis para lang gawing pansariling pondo ng iilan. True independence demands accountability, transparency, and the courage to refuse a broken status quo. Sa araw na ito, hamon sa atin ang maging mapanuri at buwagin ang sistema ng korapsyon.
