𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟭 is a day that reminds us that 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 but also 𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙚 and were willing to risk their lives for the greater good.

Ninoy’s martyrdom serves as a constant reminder to all Filipinos that freedom, democracy, and truth, like any other virtue, require faith, tenacity, and sacrifice to survive.

Let us honor Ninoy by being brave, independent, and free-spirited Filipinos who will never fail to defend their country, their people, and their principles.
