Batangas City Integrated High School joins the National Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents on August 25, 2026, at 9:00 AM.
This activity aims to strengthen the preparedness, awareness, and coordinated response of our learners, teachers, and school personnel during emergency situations.
Remember: RUN. HIDE. FIGHT.
•RUN – Get to safety and move away from danger.

•HIDE – Stay out of sight, secure your location, and remain quiet.

•FIGHT – Defend yourself only as a last resort when your life is in immediate danger.
Everyone is encouraged to listen carefully to instructions, stay calm, follow the established safety procedures, and actively participate in the drill.
See something? Say something.
Report suspicious activities, persons, or situations immediately to school officials or security personnel.
Awareness. Preparedness. Cooperation. Action.
A safe school is everyone’s responsibility.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Dahil sa patuloy na malakas na pag-ulan, at batay sa assessment at rekomendasyon ng City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO),sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa DepEd Schools Division Office (SDO) – Batangas City SUSPENDIDO ang face-to-face classes mula Preschool hanggang College sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan, kolehiyo, at unibersidad sa Lungsod ng Batangas bukas, Agosto 19, 2026 (Miyerkules).

Sa halip, ipatutupad ang Online/Modular Distance Learning, alinsunod sa umiiral na mga polisiya at learning modalities ng bawat paaralan.

Maraming salamat po.

Maging maingat at laging handa.

Sa halip, ipatutupad ang Online/Modular Distance Learning, alinsunod sa umiiral na mga polisiya ng bawat paaralan at kolehiyo/unibersidad.

Ang suspensyon ay bunsod ng masamang panahon na dulot ng Habagat.
