📚SIMLONG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CONTINUES LEARNING THROUGH ONLINE KAMUSTAHAN

Despite the cancellation of face-to-face classes brought by the "Habagat", learning and learner support continue at Simlong Elementary School. 🌧️📚

Today, August 20, 2026, teachers of Simlong Elementary School conducted online classes and Kamustahan Sessions** with learners under the Modular Distance Learning (MDL) mode.

Through these online interactions, teachers checked on the safety, well-being, and learning progress of their pupils, clarified concerns regarding the learning modules, and provided necessary guidance and assistance to ensure that learners remain connected with their teachers even during the suspension of classes.

More than completing lessons, these efforts remind our learners that their teachers are always there to listen, guide, and care.❤️

Due to the impact of recent adverse weather and flooding, school heads across the Schools Division of Batangas City have assessed that several school premises, surrounding communities, and access roads remain unsafe for face-to-face classes.
Accordingly, in-person classes in all public schools are suspended tomorrow, August 10,2026, to allow schools time to clean, repair, and ensure safe conditions.
Private school management maintains discretion over class suspensions and alternative learning modalities, in accordance with DepEd guidelines and in coordination with local authorities.
