NATIONAL FLAG DAY 🇵🇭

Kumintang Elementary School joins the whole Filipino community in commemorating National Flag Days from May 28- June 12.

In pursuant to Executive Order No. 179, the nation celebrates May 28 until June 12 as the National Flag Days, commemorating the day the country's flag was first unfurled after the Philippine Revolutionary Army defeated the Spanish forces in the Battle of Alapan in Imus, Cavite, 1898.

Let us all continue to give honor to the symbol that binds the Filipino people together.

An orientation on the Gender-Responsive Basic Education Policy (DepEd Order No. 32, s. 2017) was successfully conducted on the 18th day of May 2026 at the KES Gymnasium. The activity aimed to deepen the understanding of teachers and school personnel regarding the significance of gender responsiveness in education and its role in creating a more inclusive and equitable learning environment. The orientation highlighted that this policy is not merely something nice to have; rather, it makes education better and fair for everyone by ensuring equal opportunities and addressing gender-related concerns within the school community.

Kumintang Elementary School teachers joined the Orientation on Learning Systems Reform Policies for Teachers held on May 14, 2026 at the school gymnasium. The activity gathered teaching personnel from different grade levels to discuss and understand the significant reforms in the basic education system under the latest Department of Education policies.
