The stage came alive as LIMA students and participants showcased their talents, creativity, and passion during 𝑳𝑰𝑴𝑨 𝑮𝒐𝒕 𝑻𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕 2026 , held on 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 13, 2026 , at the 𝐋𝐈𝐌𝐀 𝐆𝐲𝐦𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐦.

From the opening performance to the final act, the event was filled with energy, excitement, and unforgettable moments. Each performer brought their own unique style to the stage, showing not only their talent but also the confidence and dedication behind every performance.

More than just a competition, LIMA Got Talent 2026 was a chance for everyone to step out of their comfort zones, express themselves, and share what they can do. The performances brought the LIMA community together and made the event a meaningful celebration of talent and passion.

LIMA kicks off the In-house Mini-Olympics for First Semester

The In-house Program Mini-Olympics Opening Program commenced last August 14 at the LIMA Gymnasium.

The activity started with a lively parade of teams, setting the stage for a day filled with energy, camaraderie, and sportsmanship. The celebration only grew more exciting as fun and joy filled the venue, bringing together our cadets in the true spirit of competition and teamwork.

The highlight of the program was the energetic Yell/Chant per team, where every group proudly showcased their team spirit, creativity, and unity, followed by the much-anticipated Jumpball that officially set the games in motion.

🙏✨ GUIDED BY FAITH, UNITED IN PURPOSE ✨🙏

On August 13, 2026, the LIMA community gathered in faith and gratitude for the Holy Spirit Mass held at the LIMA Gymnasium, seeking the guidance, wisdom, and blessings of the Holy Spirit as they embark on another meaningful journey together.

More than a celebration of faith, the Holy Mass served as a reminder for every LIMA student, faculty member, and personnel to carry with them the values of wisdom, courage, humility, and compassion in all that they do. As one community, we offered our prayers and aspirations, entrusting the days ahead to God’s grace and guidance.

The Lyceum International Maritime Academy (LIMA) spearheaded the Academic Orientation for 3rd Year Cadets at the LIMA Gymnasium, August 13.

The program provided essential reminders and discussions on the academic calendar, examination and assessment system, exit interview and competency assessment, STCW and non-STCW courses, onboard training requirements, as well as the upcoming events and activities for the Senior III cadets.

A key highlight of the orientation was the discussion on the Code of Professionalism and Work Ethics, emphasizing that technical competence must always be matched with discipline, integrity, responsibility, and the right attitude - values that every future seafarer must carry both in the academy and onboard the vessel. The occasion also recognized the Top Scorers in the Year Level Assessment, celebrating their academic achievement and inspiring their fellow cadets to strive for excellence.
