For Battle of Third (Men’s Division), #𝟏𝟏 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧 was named the 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞 — his fifth time earning the title in the duration of the league, after an impressive 20 points: 17 attacks and 3 kill blocks.

Following a tightly contested opening that saw both teams split victories in the opening championship matches, the Red Spartans entered the remaining games determined to reclaim control. However, the SPC WVT surged with momentum, claiming back-to-back 3–1 victories in Games 2 and 3 to close the series and secure the championship, finishing the finals with a 2–1 edge.

Despite the outcome, 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐔 𝐖𝐕𝐓’𝐬 journey throughout UCCL Season 19 stood as a testament to dominance and resilience. The Red Spartans swept all eight games in the eliminations round and carried that commanding form into the semifinals, where they prevailed through grueling five-set battles. Time and again, the team proved that no matter how many sets it takes to beat the opponent, they will always emerge victorious regardless.

The winning streak held strong until Championship Game 1, before San Pablo Colleges turned the tables and seized the top of the podium. Still, the Red Spartans’ season concluded with heads held high, securing the silver medal and leaving a campaign defined by consistency, skill, and championship-caliber performance.

The match turned into a tightly contested five-set battle, with both teams trading momentum in an alternate fashion: 25–21, 23–25, 25–20, 23–25, before the Red Spartans asserted control in the deciding set, 15–9. Each exchange reflected the preparation, composure, and determination of two teams meeting for their final dance in the league.

Battling for a chance to step on the podium, 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐔 𝐌𝐕𝐓 rose to the moment and delivered when it mattered most. Their sheer determination has paid off in the final set, sealing the victory and earning the bronze medal in UCCL Season 19.

Fueling the Red Spartans’ resurgence was Player #11 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧, who tallied an impressive 20 points on 17 attacks and 3 kill blocks, earning him the 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞 title for the fifth time after a short break.

Competing in just 𝟖 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, the Red Spartans turned perseverance into podium finishes, proudly bringing home 𝟔 𝐆𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐬 and 𝟏 𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐙𝐄. Every point earned, every whistle blown, and every medal raised reflected months of sacrifice, relentless training, and the burning desire to represent the University with honor.

From zero to the top of the podium, they rose from all the setbacks, because when they say “bawi,” they don’t just come back — they come back tenfold. And for as long as the season continues, all of them will prove they have what it takes to belong and dominate the bigger stage.
