Relief Operations

Sponsor a bowl of hot meal for ₱25!

Member-restaurants of Maginhawa Food Community (MFC), in coordination with the Quezon City Government, Angat Buhay, Community Pantry PH, are mobilizing to prepare hot meals for the evacuees in Quezon City.

Working on with the collected donations from Urban Chick, which amounts to ₱383,604.12, MFC is opening a new round of donation drive to provide more hot meals for the affected citizens of Quezon City.

Mechanics:
* This contest is open to bonafide Batangas State University students only (all levels)
* Participants must upload a photo (with caption) entry related to Earth Day and its theme: Climate action. For tips, visit: https://www.earthday.org. Photos should show how you can contribute to the Earth Day theme and to the thrust of the BatStateU regarding sustainability. Actions may be done during Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), at home and/or at the University.
* Entries must be uploaded in their own personal FB account, tagging BatStateU Environmental Management Unit & Road 2 Zero Waste Batangas and with hashtags , and . Captions explaining the photo must not exceed 150 words (hashtags are not counted). Make sure that the post is set to public.
* Participants must like Batstateu Environmental Management Unit & Road 2 Zero Waste Batangas pages, and the contest announcement post to be able to join.
* Winners will be judged by this criteria:
20% Repeatability of Action
25% Adherence to theme
10% Audience appeal
20% Photo quality and composition
25% Impact of message
* Deadline of entries is on April 24, 2020. Judging will be done on April 27, 2020 and winners will be announced on April 30, 2020.

Prizes:
Two (2) winners will receive a pouch and an eco-product (washable liner or bamboo toothbrush) courtesy of the sponsor, Road 2 Zero Waste Batangas. Prizes will be available for pick up at EMU’s office, 3rd floor, Student Services Building, Main 1 after ECQ.

***Usage Right:
1. BatStateU EMU reserves the right to use the entries for its promotional purposes and other general display activities.
2. BatStateU EMU reserves the right to enhance and/or modify the design of the winning and consolation design entries and the winning name entries.
