In celebration of National Women’s Month 2026, Banaba East Elementary School officially launched its month-long activities through a meaningful Kick-Off Program held during the flag-raising ceremony this March. The celebration is in line with the advocacy of the Department of Education to promote Gender and Development (GAD), gender equality, and women empowerment in all schools nationwide.

The program began with an introduction to the significance of Women’s Month, highlighting the vital role of women in education, leadership, family, and community development. Learners and teachers actively participated in the ceremony, wearing purple as a symbol of justice, dignity, and women’s rights.

The Kick-Off Program marked the beginning of various activities scheduled throughout the month, including symposiums, poster making contests and advocacy campaigns focusing on women’s rights and empowerment.

Through this celebration, our school reaffirms its commitment to fostering a gender-responsive educational environment where every learner feels valued, empowered, and respected.

This meaningful celebration highlights the vital role of women in shaping our homes, schools, communities, and the country. More importantly, it reminds us that achieving gender equality is a shared responsibility — one that requires unity, respect, and collective action.
As an educational institution, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting a safe, inclusive, and gender-responsive learning environment where every learner — regardless of gender — is empowered to grow, lead, and succeed. Banaba East Elementary School proudly congratulates Franchezka P. Dela Cruz for being hailed as one of the Top 40 finalists in the Science and Technology Writing – Filipino Category (Elementary Level) during the Reconfigured Regional Schools Press Conference held in Antipolo, Rizal, February 21-27. She advances to the final round of the competition, bringing honor to the school. Joining her in this remarkable achievement is her coach, Mrs. Maribel B. Farquerabao. The school community remains hopeful and wishes them the best in the final round.

Bokal at Konsehal Blanco Nagkaloob ng Wall at Ceiling Fan sa Matatag Hall Stage sa Pakikipag-ugnayan ng SPTA

Isang makabuluhang proyekto ang matagumpay na naisakatuparan sa Matatag Hall sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaloob ng mga wall fan at ceiling fan na magbibigay ng mas maaliwalas at komportableng kapaligiran para sa mga mag-aaral tuwing may programa at iba’t ibang gawain sa paaralan.

Ang proyektong ito ay naisakatuparan sa pangunguna ng SPTA President na si Josefina Tabaquero kasama ang iba pang spta officers na nagsumikap na makipag-ugnayan at lumapit kina Bokal Hamilton Blanco at Konsehal Bart Blanco upang maiparating ang pangangailangan ng paaralan. Sa kanilang agarang pagtugon at malasakit, naipagkaloob ang mga bentilador na ngayon ay pakikinabangan ng buong komunidad ng paaralan.

Lubos ang pasasalamat ng buong BEES Family sa suporta at kabutihang-loob ng ating mga lokal na pinuno, gayundin sa patuloy na paggabay ng ating Punong G**o na si Dr. Johnson B. Cueto. Ang proyektong ito ay patunay na sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan, mas napapabuti natin ang kapaligiran para sa ating mga mag-aaral.
