The capacity-building activity brought together the University’s Vice Chancellors for Development and External Affairs (VCDEA), Job Placement Office Heads and staff to strengthen their knowledge, skills, and practices in delivering responsive and effective career and employment services.

A key highlight of the activity was the 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, which featured a 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗗𝗢𝗟𝗘) 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗩-𝗔. Through meaningful discussions, knowledge-sharing, and collaborative learning, 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 provided an avenue to enhance career facilitation mechanisms, strengthen industry engagement, and explore strategies that contribute to improved graduate employability and employment outcomes.

𝘐𝘯 𝘊𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘔𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘐𝘵 | BatStateU, CPD forge partnership to strengthen PopDev initiatives

Batangas State University, The National Engineering University (BatStateU, The NEU), and the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at Kamagong Hall, Jose Rizal Building, BatStateU–Pablo Borbon, June 24.

The partnership aims to strengthen Population and Development (PopDev) Integration through competency development, research, and information systems. The agreement also promotes collaboration in conducting research aligned with national population and development priorities.

Under the MOU, BatStateU and CPD will implement capacity-building and advocacy programs to increase awareness and understanding of PopDev concepts among students, faculty, and other stakeholders.
