We are incredibly proud to celebrate Dean Caleb Montalbo from G7 Huygens for his stellar performance at the Batangas Karate Open 2026 held at the UB Millennium Gymnasium! Demonstrating incredible focus, technique, and fighting spirit, Dean conquered the mats and brought home multiple awards for our community.
Dean claimed the covetedGOLD MEDALl in the 12-13 Advanced Kata division, proving his elite form and precision. He followed up that spectacular victory with a hard-fought BRONZE MEDALl in the U14 Male Kumite -40kg category, showing immense courage and skill in combat. As seen in the photo, Dean proudly wears his well-earned medals with a champion's smile.

Let's celebrate another phenomenal victory! A massive congratulations to Euna Cayenne Baligbis of G10-Catapang for an outstanding performance at the Laguna Province Taekwondo Championships! Held yesterday, June 14, 2026, at the Laguna Sports Complex in Sta. Cruz, Laguna, Euna showcased remarkable skill, agility, and fierce determination on the mats to secure a well-deserved Bronze Medal.

Your hard work, discipline, and dedication to the sport have truly paid off, and the entire community is incredibly proud of your achievement. Keep kicking high, Euna, and may this be just the beginning of many more victories to come! 🥋🥉👏

Huge congratulations to our very own karate champion, Moireen Marasigan Hilaga from G8 Fleming, for her incredible back-to-back achievements on the mat! Moireen showed incredible grit and determination at the 3rd CeKD Karate NCR Game 2026 held at One Mall, Valenzuela last May 30, 2026, where she fought her way to a spectacular Silver Medal in the U14 +52kg Advance Kumite division. As seen in the photo, Moireen wears her silver medal with pride alongside her tournament plushie.

Her epic victory streak continued right into the Batangas Karate Open 2026 on June 13, 2026, held at the University of Batangas, Millennium Gymnasium! Up against tough competition, she brought home two more major awards: a Bronze Medal in Advance Kata 12-13 and another spectacular Silver Medal in U14 +52kg Advance Kumite. Today, our UBBC JHS Girl Scouts and their GSP Adviser proudly represented our community at the Araw ng Kalayaan celebration at SM City Batangas.

At UBBC JHS, we intentionally nurture our students to be deeply civic-minded and socially conscious, and seeing our scouts wave the national flag perfectly exemplifies these values in action.

Serving as the sole representative of Batangas City, Lance delivered a stellar performance at the NCFP 2026 National Age Group Chess Championships in Olongapo City, securing a fantastic 9th Place finish in the highly competitive U16 Boys Standard Chess division! He finished with an impressive 6.0/9 points (5 wins, 2 draws) against the country’s top junior players. 👑

Representing Batangas City as its lone participant, Lance Caubang delivered an impressive performance at the NCFP 2026 National Age Group Chess Championships in Olongapo City, finishing 9th Place in the highly competitive U16 Boys Standard Chess division.
The young University of Batangas student scored 6.0/9 points from (5 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses) against some of the country's strongest junior players, earning a well-deserved Top 10 national finish.
