Warmest congratulations to Gulod Integrated School (Junior High School) for your outstanding achievement at the 2026 Division Festival of Talents (DFOT). This remarkable accomplishmentโ€”earning Second Place in the 5-minute short film competition for your inspiring entry, โ€œIsang Elehiyang Walang Alaalaโ€โ€”reflects your dedication, creativity, and passion for Values Education.

Anchored on the theme โ€œPagbabalik ng mga Pagpapahalaga at Pag-angkin sa Pusong Makatao sa Panahon ng AI,โ€ the film powerfully showcased authentic Filipino valuesโ€”compassion, empathy, family, and moral responsibilityโ€”highlighting the transformative role of Values Education in shaping humane and values-driven individuals.

This achievement was made possible through the dedication and creativity of the student filmmakers, led by Irish Rheine A. Camarig, who served as Director, Videographer, Video Editor, Sound, and Music Director, with the strong support of Rhianna Jhea G. Maderazo as Assistant Director and Assistant Videographer. The compelling narrative was thoughtfully crafted by the Scriptwriters and Poster Editors, Kazandra C. Abraham, Reigne Aliah B. Asiado, and Chloe Zyne C. Garcia, whose collective work gave depth and meaning to the story.

Special recognition is also extended to Joshua Neil M. Comia, recipient of the Most Inspiring Character Award, for his heartfelt portrayal of Pedro โ€œTatayโ€ Belen, which deeply resonated with both the audience and the judges.

The film was further brought to life by the compelling performances of its cast, led by Emmanuel Luis Andrei C. Reyes as Emman Belen (Lead Actor) and Maja C. Torino as Mae โ€œMamaโ€ Belen (Lead Actress). Notable supporting roles were delivered by Marvin D. Cagatin as the teacher, alongside Chloe Zyne C. Garcia, Romalene M. Abante, and Nathaniel L. Malitao, whose performances added depth and authenticity to the narrative. The minor roles were effectively portrayed by Johanes Veer C. Umahon, Kathlyn C. Bagon, Lance Aaron C. Aranez, and John Evho Gabriel Delgado.

This success was further guided and strengthened by the unwavering support of the coaches, Ms. Remie G. Alforque and Mr. Jo Albert M. Dimayacyac, whose mentorship played a vital role in honing the learnersโ€™ talents. Heartfelt appreciation is also given to Ms. Shara Mae A. Dapito, Values Coordinator, for her leadership and guidance in ensuring that the film remained rooted in strong moral and human values.

Special thanks are likewise extended to Maโ€™am Glenda A. Delizo, Teacher-in-Charge, for her steadfast support, guidance, and encouragement throughout the entire filmmaking process, which greatly contributed to the success of the film.

To the entire cast, production team, and school community, this recognition is a true testament to your creativity, teamwork, and shared commitment to values-based storytelling. May you continue to create stories that inspire, uplift, and remind us of our shared humanity.
