Upon the recommendation of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) after a thorough assessment of the possible effects brought about by the Southwest monsoon, and the approval of Mayor Wendah Katrina Rivera-Dolor, the SUSPENSION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS, both in public and private schools, tomorrow August 20, 2026 is hereby declared in the Municipality of Bauan.

All schools are hereby directed to implement the appropriate alternative learning modalities, including modular distance learning or online learning to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of education and at the same time safeguarding the welfare of learners, teaching personnel and school staff.

The public is advised to remain vigilant, closely monitor official weather advisories issued by the appropriate government agencies, and observe all necessary preparedness and safety measures at all times.

Malugod naming binabati ang aming masipag, mahusay, at mapaglingkod na Ina ng aming paaralan ng Sta. Maria – San Pedro Elementary School, Gng. Rianita S. Pasigpasigan, sa kaniyang pagkakahirang bilang Regional Outstanding District Field Adviser (ODFA) ng Girl Scouts of the Philippines – Southern Luzon Region.
