𝗜𝗡 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗧| Last November 16, 2025, the Officers of the Economics Students’ Association took part in the Financial Education Stakeholders Congress at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), a national platform that convened policymakers, educators, financial institutions, and advocates committed to advancing financial literacy and inclusion in the country.

Their participation reflects the Association’s steadfast commitment to informed leadership and purposeful engagement, ensuring that current economic discourse, policy directions, and best practices in financial education are not only understood but translated into meaningful initiatives for the student body and the wider community. Through this experience, the officers continue to reinforce the Association’s role as a proactive contributor to financial awareness and economic empowerment.

𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

On December 12, 2025, The SDG Initiative 2025 was successfully conducted, bringing together students and participants for an informative and engaging discussion on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event served as a platform to raise awareness on how the SDGs act as a global blueprint for addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges while promoting sustainable development for all.

The initiative emphasized the interconnectedness of all SDGs, highlighting how goals on poverty, education, health, equality, clean energy, decent work, innovation, and climate action are all equally important in building a balanced and inclusive future. Through meaningful talks and activities, participants gained a clearer understanding of how these global goals translate into real-life actions and responsibilities.

The SDG Initiative 2025 reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to empowering students as future changemakers. By encouraging awareness, collaboration, and responsibility, the event inspired participants to take part in transforming global goals into local impact—one action at a time.
