Ambulong Elementary School officially opened the new academic year today with a smooth, organized, and meaningful first day, highlighting the power of collaboration among teachers, parents, learners, and stakeholders. The successful opening reflected weeks of preparation and a shared commitment to ensuring that all learners begin the school year in a positive and supportive environment.
The first day of classes, which formed part of the opening block, focused not on regular academic lessons but on activities essential to studentsโ holistic development. Instead of subject-based instruction, learners participated in orientation sessions, classroom routines, and interactive activities designed to help them get to know one another. These included setting classroom rules, establishing expectations, and engaging in psychosocial activities aimed at building a safe and inclusive learning environment.
The readiness of the school community was evident. Classrooms were fully preparedโclean, organized, and equipped with the necessary learning materialsโoffering a welcoming space for students.
