MONITORING MISSION Top division execs reinforce Haligue Silangan class kick off, June 16

Haligue Silangan Elementary School successfully conducted an unannounced earthquake drill on June 15, 2026, at 7:00 AM as part of its continuous commitment to disaster preparedness and school safety. The activity was designed to evaluate the readiness, awareness, and response capability of both learners and school personnel in the event of a real earthquake.
During the simulation, a strong earthquake scenario was implemented where students and staff promptly executed the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure. The unannounced nature of the drill allowed the school to effectively assess actual response time, discipline, and coordination during emergency situations.
Results showed that the drill was successfully carried out, with learners and personnel demonstrating proper and immediate response to the simulated earthquake. Their actions reflected a strong understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
This activity highlights the school’s ongoing dedication to strengthening disaster preparedness through regular drills and continuous safety education. The public is encouraged to remain vigilant, prepared, and knowledgeable about earthquake safety measures to ensure protection and resilience in times of emergencies.
