Right after the flag ceremony, students took the spotlightโ€”not in their usual uniforms, but in outfits representing their dream careers! The Career Guidance Runway brought ambition to the forefront as fellow SOUTHIES displayed their future professions, ranging from doctors, nurses, teachers, flight crew, engineers, architects and many more!

But this wasnโ€™t just about dressing upโ€”it was about owning the dream, stepping into their future selves, and walking with confidence toward their goals ๐Ÿ’ผ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€โš•๏ธ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ‘ฎ

And finally, featuring the SOUTHIES who stole the show and earned the Best Attire titles! ๐Ÿ‘โœจ

๐Ÿ† Best Attire Awardees:
๐Ÿฅ‡ Sharean Fontanoza
๐Ÿฅˆ Furto Prince Piolo
๐Ÿฅ‰ Napeรฑas Kaila

Shoutout to everyone who slayed the runway and showed the world who theyโ€™re meant to be!

On another note, the event didnโ€™t end thereโ€”because stepping into the future isnโ€™t just about looking the part, itโ€™s about being prepared for whatโ€™s ahead.

After the runway, teachers took the stage to talk about career planning, guiding students through the different paths they could take to turn their dreams into reality. It was a chance to reflect, ask questions, and get a clearer picture of what the future might hold.

Later in the day, the discussion took on a more serious note as students gathered for a lecture on sexual abuse awareness. It wasnโ€™t an easy topic, but it was an important oneโ€”because knowing your rights, recognizing red flags, and learning how to protect yourself are just as crucial as planning for your career.

On January 13, 2025, Batangas City South Senior High School reaffirmed its commitment to productivity through the launch of Project SOUTH. Led by the dedicated school head, Sir Alvin Colot, the school held its first flag ceremony assembly of the year, attended by both teachers and students.

During the assembly, Sir Alvin emphasized Project BELIEVE-4MB, an initiative designed to promote values education by focusing on the core principles of the Department of Education: BELIEVE-4MB stands for Building, Ensuring, Leading, and Instilling Ethical Standards of Values Education of Batangueรฑos, emphasizing the holistic development of students through values formation.

Sir Alvin also highlighted Project SOUTHโ€”Strengthening Orientation and Upholding Values Through Holistic Transformation. This program, aligned with BELIEVE-4MB, seeks to straighten up studentsโ€™ attitudes, beliefs, and values by harmonizing the head, hand, and heart. The project emphasizes collaboration among teachers, parents, and the wider community to create an environment that nurtures holistic growth and reinforces DepEdโ€™s core values.

Through these initiatives, Batangas City South Senior High School aims to develop a supportive and nurturing environment where students and educators work hand in hand toward shared goals. With a strong sense of community and commitment, the school aspires to make 2025 a transformative year for everyone involved.
